one of my housemates is watching scary movies as she calls them. There is a poor lady who is screaming her head off for the longest time in this scary movie.

screaming voiceover is real specialized work :)

still looking for a decent computer for $600 that can run Daz Studio 4, Luxus and Poser 9. I'll continue to conversation in the new complaint thread or my own thread.

just noticed that most new computers don't have the white PCI slots that were invented in the mid 1990s. Hopefully the onboard sound chip on the new computer will be decent unlike the cheap one I got. Youtube videos sound tinny. Other music and videos sound ok. The same videos sound ok on another computer.

sound is really advanced circuitry nowadays, iz crappy speakers that cause tinny rattly woes :)

Good morning everyone, or good evening, or good night, wherever you are!

Today's one complaint: It's going to get near 90F again. :bug:

    Non-complaints!

    - Plenty of beer left to watch football all day with
    - Won-ton soup and coffee for breakfast! :cheese:
    - Leftover Chinese food for lunch!
    - Lasagna for dinner tomorrow night!
    - Yummy nuts and olives to snack on!

Will have to make a brief grocery store run tomorrow on the way home, I'm almost out of bowls and could use another 2L bottle of diet soda. Maybe more paper towels, too - the coffee maker dripping splashes a bit of coffee around so there's post-brew clean-up. :blank:

I think today is a write-and-compose day, between games.. I feel inspired to create kind of an airy, more New-Ageish electronic piece.. :red: :red:

    Whew, busy! :bug:

    - Started HD backup, should be done in.. 19 hours.. :smirk:
    - Ran virus scan and malware scan
    - Ran registry cleaner
    - Downloading updates to a couple of my software synthesizers
    - Folded and put away some clean shirts
    - Cleaned up around the place

Now making cup of coffee #3 and trying to decide if I *really* have enough beer.. hmm.. so hot outside but the store nearby carries Stella Artois, only 2 blocks.. could get chips and dip as well..

    Decisions, decisions. :blank:

just got a call from my sister... "When do we leave?" totally slipped my mind about her OTHER surgery (on her eyes) that I am supposed to take her to and stay the week with her for! :bug:

but nodding atm, so going to take a nap - serious painkillers NOT being conducive to driving 4 hours... wtf am I going to do?? *Just* got back into physical therapy and now need to be gone a week.

Light the day as the Sun dawns warm
Looking into your eyes, I fall
    Feeling you inside me, knowing
Nothing can take me from you
    Or you, from me.

The mist parts, revealing your love
So bright, your light blinds me
As I bow, my Lady, to your fire
Like eternal wheeling skies of stars
    Forever in you.

One breath I take, and you are gone
But somehow still inside me, I dream
And you come, reaching down to me
As I yearn for you, and soon we will
    Be together.
