Yeah. I actually like everything in the bundle except the price and I already own several Egyptian themed items from previous bundles that weren't very long ago. No freebies, store credit, orange banners or deals of any kind?
Eh, I guess the HD is her character though, so you don't have to buy that separate.
Depending on what you've purchased during the sale and what other Mad items you include in the cart, the price can drop to a more or less reasonable $38.25 in the cart. $7 per item isn't unreasonable. A seven-item bundle is ... unusual. Though apparently she includes her HD, which Michael, Victoria, and Torment did not, but White Priestess did. (Assuming Cleopatra's product description is correct, and her HD does seem to be included in the readme file list for her. I wonder if this means that Cleopatra is an Artstation character? Included HD and attenuated bundles seem to be the norm for them.)
I actually like the bundle, surprisingly enough. But ... they've now done THREE Egyptian female themed bundles in the past six months. I suppose the Ancient Egyptian Oasis Bundle would theoretically count as a sorta kinda vaguely thinking about being a male bundle -- if you squint real hard -- but they don't have Akhenaten 8, he's just plain Mst Akhenaten. I mean, I like him, but it's not at all the same thing. Also, four Egyptian themed bundle in six months seems like more than the traffic can bear, really.
To me she seems cartoon-ish/stylized so I'm not interested in the character... unless it's just the promo images not doing a good job of conveying realism in the figure. If it's a stylistic choice, I hope it's not going to be a continuing trend in DA figures but at least for now it saves me money.
I think AntFarm did an excellent job on his set piece. I own tons of Egyptian sets, but his brings something unique and instantly cinematic to the lot. The treasure and the weapons are a nice touch too. The outfits and hair seem well-made, but I already have several versions of the same thing. Now, Cleopatra 8.1 unfortunately (for me) seems stuck on the same bridge between realism and fantasy that Victoria 8.1 is on and that White Priestess was able to cross due to a more distinctive and detailed morph.
If they'd commission Josh Crockett to do a real Akhenaten 8.1, I'd get interested real fast.
Folks, does anything say "Happy St.Patrick's Day" like an Egyptian bundle? I don't think so.
Well, I like the content of the bundle. But getting no incentives is more and more hard to swallow. There are a couple of Bundles I do not have (like Juan Carlos) which are listet in related sections but not getting a higher discount. One could get higher discounts on Related Mad (which holdes the Egyptian themed bundles sold before. So I would have at least expected a banner with an additional discount for owners of the earlier Egyptian bundles. So I really need to think twice if this is good enough to seperate me from some of the store credit I recently acquired.
If you happend to buy any or both of the White Priestress bundles, you should see an orange banner. It would have made more sense to get a discount if you own any of the recent Egypt-themed bundles.
I do agree that I have seen better bundles, but it is quite fine, if all the discounts fall into place. For me it ended up at $32.92 in the cart, which is an acceptable price for the contents.
I have one White Pristress bundle and don't see any banner.
And I agree, again a very bad deal, compared to former pro bundles.

Same here, got the first white priestress but no banner. I still have $38 (with the 10% item-kicker and an 2nd new release). That is still not that much of an incentive for figure + 2 cloth, 1 hair and an environment. I don't count props.
AntFarm's Egyptian Oasis is gorgeous, I agree. I'd get that on its own, but it looks like it doesn't have rigged walls, according to the file list, which will make rendering and working with the inside a bit of a pain. Decisions, decisions...
The coupon stipulates both bundles were purchased.
Phew. IMO not that customer friendly if this kicks only if both of those themed mini bundles are purchased leaving out buyers of all the former Egyptian themed bundles.
I bought Twosret, Khemsit and the Oasis bundle and don't get that coupon on todays new Egyptian themed bundle. Not nice.
Finally, in honor of Saint Patrick's Day, yet another character to portray Princess Scota of Egypt, who married Goidel Glas, sailed to the edge of the world, and founded the Scots and Gails. Can I use the terms 'finally' and 'yet another' in the same sentence? Yes, if we are talking about founding myths for which archaeologists search for legitimate evidence.

okay, that's than an easy choice if I buy that bundle.
This is the avalanche-effect of the offered coupon never working on that bundle, thus not buying that, thus not getting a banner for this one and not buying this either. I was afraid of something like this during the Madness sale. But do not despair, there's always another sale! :D
For USD 38.73 as it shows in my cart, I am tempted to pull the trigger.
What I really love about Cleopatra 8.1 is her height of 163 cm. She is not your typical modern tall model, 180 cm or even taller. Awesome.

Still making up my mind if I should get it but as already pointed out there are some bad things to this deal:
- All the former Egyptian themed bundles don't account for discounts
- Both White Priestress do although there was a big flaw which a coupon with the second bundle which prevented me from purchasing
Another thing which bothers me. It's fine that there are a lot of kitbashed promos done. But it is harder and harder to really understand what is in the bundle and what not and whether this stuff is from a prior bundle or available at DAZ at all. Why not provide additional, color coded images which black-and-white things which you are not purchasing or use the section on additional prodcuts used?
$38.73 that equals $5.53 per item (note, an additional MAD item is required for this price)

An average sale of a G8 pro bundle last year (outside big sale months) was arround $66 for 14 to 15 items (bundle + addons). That was less than $4.7 + CREDIT and/or FREEBIES + Huge additional discounts that could go up to 80%. All that before any orange(purple) banner.
IF that was during a big sale month, then the price per item was less than $3.5 easily + and all the extra benefits even bigger.

Yep. Not really good, that's for sure. Guess one might get a little extra on the soon to follow 5th egyption style bundle. But this bundle will then probably contain some more animations I do not need. Bummer.
Can't you just use the seperate body/head morphs instead so it doesn't change the scaling? Those morphs shouldn't contain scaling like the "Chracter" morphs do.
Left is Aiko dialed in completely, right is aiko body and head dialed in completely (and is still the standard height).
Is the Deokogon stuff still free on Unreal? I think it's permanently free....
