I cheated and used Merlin and Stonemason's textures on some of the plants!
they are planes with diffuse and alpha maps so you can stick anything on them, the trees too!
I need to seriously gimp the captured textures to create alpha maps esp for Daz studio which does not read opacity in png files but oddly the pngs were not transparent in Carrara either, iClone accepted them.
I did not know what the floating planes were so I stuck a bird video with an alpha channel on them!!
might do a parody video as parodies can circumvent copyright under fair use with my own billboards and stuff
hot coffee may take on a new meaning %-P

I was actually thinking polly tickle, have already done a few videos with Julia Gillard and Tony Abbot
cannot get political on this forum though but on Youtube they are fair game, I can quite safely do facegen likenesses and name them unlike celebrities.

hot coffee by the way is a game mod you can no longer get
it enables a hidden minigame where the characters do the naughty!
I cannot even play Grand theft properly by the way on my computer esp using my keypad, too clutzy, I just run around and look at the graphics mostly, I am really sad gamer wise, not really into it at all, well at least not compeditively and getting high scores, I like looking around.
    sorry if that disappoints,
I only loaded it on my desktop last week to look at the 3D modeling, had it for a for long time on my old laptop, only game other than Scrabble and Sonic the hedgehog I'd ever actually bought.
    just not a gamer.
but I love watching others play, admiring all the cool graphics that they prob never even notice!

but now I have it on my desktop (and my nVidia card puts it into 3D)
I might actually get around to playing it, was too laggy on my laptop.

That's fare enough, Lol about hot coffee haha! Now I am stoopid for the stupid thread :cheese: I am a fan of the ever increasing graphics, It is funny because most people wouldn't even have a clue as to how much work is involved! And even still, I'd know far less in that area than you considering all the stuff you do. Latest games I've been facinated with is Assassin's creed, having seen it evolve from what was great graphics even in the first one... The lighting, reflections, shadows, specular and the sheer detail of the textures... AMAZING.

Dynamics and water modelling are very much evolved as well.

I have Unreal game engine UDK (it is free btw) and the graphics in that are awesome, love exploring the foliage map with my red/cyan glasses on
I bought some shutter glasses too but need a new monitor with a fast refresh rate to use them, too poor at the moment.

Another render in DS4P. Got inspired by "The Dead", which I watched yesterday. It's just a basic desert-render with a guy dressed in djellaba outside his army outfit.

I only see one STUPID in this. You forgot the STEPS in the sand morph (I think). If it's the set I think it is, it has one.

or he has been standing there a long time and the wind has smoothed it? but then you would get some skewing on the lee side of the figure.

I like the fact that the person in this image is wearing american millitary boots lol If you didn't say hes wearing the djellaba over his uniform There is much speculation on this image as to why and how he got the boots :)

The outfit with the ruling population looks kinda stupid, but the movie as a whole was good.

Well, that was a render inspired by the zombie-movie "The Dead". Check out this video:

Wow, that sure is a different and unique zombie movie... The zombies are in some instances actually hard to reccognize, they arent so obvious which in a way brings more thrill out of it I think.

I hope they'll make "The Dead 2" without sacrificing what made this one as good.
