This set looks very very promising. I hope you will add all the funny poses too. I think the environment set is still in the dockyard .;-)

of course : for all the fans of the Tongenerations, all the funny poses separately and the whole set of scenes of this story.. (no buble text).
But Set in the dockyard? why? lol

Bought the Sailor set today... and Katherina, too! (recently the bus, and the beach set...)

Thanks, 3Djoji! They look awesome. I really, really needed a uniform.

Will play around with them over the weekend.

I really look forward to whatever you are working on next!

I like the look of the ship. Would it look OK for use with less toony characters? What about scale — how tall are those toon figures?

I use the Toon Gen characters all the time with lots of models. Usually I scale the toons up (as opposed to scaling every other model down) and things generally work nice. I don't have (or haven't used so I am not proficient with them) other less toony characters, but the ship is pretty much a ship. It comes with a display stand and case so you can use it on a desk, too, for decoration.

The ship loads perfectly in Daz and renders quick. I work almost exclusively in Carrara (the only way to get Mimic to work on a Mac), which occasionally requires a tweak or two before the models work smoothly.

3Djoji's models are great; I have most of them. It is really nice to see him actively working on more Toon Gen stuff. I really hope there is more, much more, on the way!

Okay, I bought your space, army and navy sets, an air force set is an instant sale. ;-)

Any other preview shots available? Flight suit? Helmet? Jet fighter?

Thanks so much for supporting Toon Generations, looking forward to seeing more of your excellent work.

I'm having problems with the boat Katherina. The download contains only the runtime folders, there are no Daz files. When loading the seaplane it tells me it can't find the data file.

I will send a message to the support but this is the week-end.Please, find hereafter a link for downloading the missing data folder : www.3djoji.be/freebies/data.zip
Unzip and merge it to your directory "data". I hope it will help, either, I can not do anything

Katherina problems here as well. Loading the DayScene file into DAZ|Studio, these are among the errors I get.

WARNING: general\dzcontentmgr.cpp(1977): Empty absolutePath passed to DzContentMgr::getRelativePath()
    Reading 3djsea.obj
    Imported: 3djsea.obj
WARNING: general\dzcontentmgr.cpp(1977): Empty absolutePath passed to DzContentMgr::getRelativePath()
WARNING: fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(4946): Could not find morph source file: /Runtime/libraries/Character/3Djoji/Katherina/Katherina.cr2
    Could not resolve : "/Runtime/libraries/Character/3Djoji/Katherina/Katherina.cr2"

The first one looks like the error for the missing sea plane (can we call this a "water plane" instead, I actually spent time looking in the promo pics for an airplane that floats on the water).

The second is a bit more serious, it looks like the location of the Poser character files is hardcoded somewhere — this will be a serious problem for me, as I very rarely install content into the place they "should" be. Is this hardcoding supposed to happen? I've always thought it was supposed to be avoided, because of precisely this problem.

The crane control dials don't seem to be doing anything, I suspect this is related to the error above. All the other dials (doors, radar, cargo hatches, rudder etc) work properly.

It looks like your .cr2 file is corrupted, the morphs are parts of it and that can explain why you get these error. You are right : the cranes are the ones using these morphs, the others are controled by bones. The missing data can explain the first error you describe. What I suggest is to reload the item from daz and reinstall. I would joint your report on monday.

So, any more Air Force picts yet? Maybe a baggy flight suit with helmet? Jet pack? Jet? Anything?
