    Genclone ... coming

I think that that one never comes alive in the dazshop because the team requests it to be a stand alone character which is impossible. Perheaps I put it as free item from my site one of these days. The steam engine is coming soon. Other items are still on work.

But that's... Crazy (that's the nicest word I could come up with). I'm sure you could sell it at Rendo or elsewhere, but I don't understand their reasoning. It's not just another robot, it's a GenToons add-on.

    Unbelievable. angry

Something you might try is to market the product as prosthetics for the Toon Generations (similar to some of the images you posted earlier). Show some ToonGen Doctors and nurses with young children and older people using prosthetic arms or legs, etc. I would even use some of your military outfits showing wounded veterans with replacement parts.

The entire prosthetic "skeleton" can be a "free bonus" that comes with the prosthetic set, rather than the focus of the set being the GenClone itself.

There has to be a way to get this in the store, I need it. wink

a complete new figure is submitted soon based on the genclone, the G-BOT102 is of the same family, incompatible with the Toongenerations. The base mesh was rebuild, the UV and the texture sets are remade too. It comes with a lot of improvements and a great collections of poses. Just some WIP (Work in progress) to show this little figures which can plays around in the toongeneration world too...

Those look great; do they take Toon Generations poses and clothing?

I'll grab it as soon as it hits the store whether it does or not, but I would also buy a version that allowed me to easily use the limbs for prosthetics. The early shots you showed were great.

Thanks for the update, credit card still standing by...

  • It is any chance to get some "wild west" clothing/props or poses ? I'm not able to put my models into DAZStudio to I have to do it in Cinema 4D ... at this moment is enough for me now (I just need only static), just posing is really difficult when I cant "see" everything in DAZStudio ;)

I don't understand exactly what you explained, do you want to get these (if any) in Daz Studio and export the posed figure to cinema4D? or is it something else?

  • I'm looking for some "wild west" props / clothing / poses ... at this moment I'm not able to put my objects into DAZStudio with posing ability (for example as "working gloves" ). At this moment my workflow is
    1) prepare figure in DAZStudio (pose, hat, glowes etc.)
    2) export figure as obj
    3) merge figure with my models created in Cinema 4D (R6)

in case of not perfect posing I have to ajdust pose in DAZ .... export ... merge in Cinema ... for many times, because I cant make "perfect pose" in DAZ without models which I have in Cinema ... this cowboy have cca 15 exports from DAZ to Cinema to make hands in this "acceptable" pose :) specialy the right hand on bullet :)

If here will be some "wild west" props / clothing / poses for toon generation I will buy it. At this moment I plan to buy "superhero" set because there are many type of gloves which can be used also for "my cowboys" :)

  • Or if it is possible to send someone my models to make it "DAZStudio" comaptible and poseable it should me second way ;)

Is this related to Toon Generations? If not it should probably be split off into its own thread.

  • It is related I think ... I looking for "wild west" props / clothing / poses for Toon generation ;) As you can see littlebit above I use Toon generation to make my own Cowboy ;)

  • Hi, I purchased the dev kit to make clothing but there were no instructions on how to utilize it! I am a very proficient modeler with Lightwave, can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

  • Here is some clothing for a detective series I am working on, feedback welcome.

These are very nice. Be sure to have the different groups well defined, I always refer to the body groups to get the best. Some changes of the joints fields are always required when using the kit. Skirt are always very difficult to get in place when moving the legs, better to use some correction morphs to control it.

    Thank you,

Is there a tutorial somewhere that tells me how to do this? Here is bernardine with a different type of skirt.

I think that Steve post something in his forum in the past but unfortunately, his forum is closed for several years. I just try to find something in my back up
