Asian Beauty Appreciation Thread

I´ve been meaning to make this thread for a while... and why not now, with the AAPI bundle out!

Feel free to discuss the bundle here (but not the NFT aspect, there´s a separate thread for that).

But mainly just post your renders, using items from the bundle or otherwise!

Anime style renders are welcome but I´m hoping that it´s not just going to be Anime all the way.

 

I´m kicking things off with something that I kind of threw together quickly, but I will hopefully follow up with some more sophisticated renders:

    VirtualWorld's East Asian Women is absolutely essential. I haven't played around with the male counterpart, but I imagine it's at least comparable in quality.

    Features CarbonCrow's Zhao, who is also a great character, but she's not necessarily the focus of this render.

    I don't really do portraits or glamour shots, so I don't have a lot to contribute to this thread.

    Loving the renders!

    I have Ai and Zhao, they are both excellent characters. I wish I had Kwan, he´s on my wishlist.

    BTW my female character is Minami by Rarestone. The male one is dial-spun.

    Mei Lin 8 (a test render; I was making 3DL mats for the outfit)

    And Mei Lin 6, an oldie (and heavily postworked)

    An older one:

    Kung Fu Tea - when I lived in China, I went to some cool restaurants where they poured the hot water from these long-spouted kettles and spun them round, Kung Fu style. So here's an example of cultural beauty (to go along with the beautiful characters).

    Nice! Kumi Leiko caught my eye when she was released but I ultimately decided that I didn´t like most of the promos that much. But I might have to rethink that, she´s intriguing! You made her look very nice. Then again, I have so many Asian ladies already...

    Do you have Filter Forge? Because all I did was use a preset from "StevieJ's Fantasy Softlens." Ran the original image through the filter preset (last row, middle), copied the result, undid it, and then pasted the copied layer over the original at 50% opacity. That's it.
