Hi guys. Here’s a new update on the pack. I added fins for the secondary arms. I think Baryolax looks great as a eel-like marine creature.

Adding them to the secondary arms goes a long way to completing that alternative finned look!

Wonder if someone could do a swimming pose set for it? The swimming motions for 'Alien Resurrection' were modelled on the way crocodiles swim, which might be a good starting point.

If dragon-like wings are eventually a part of another expansion set, there'll probably be demand for a flying pose set, too.

    Wow, that looks just amazing

Wings will be for a later pack because it’s really difficult to rig in DAZ.

I’ll probably make a new set of poses for him with a predator prey theme.

I’m currently working on a sci-fi spacesuit for Baryolax.

Wonder if Sickleyield got her idea to work for Baryolax to be able to wear existing clothing sets.

Will be very interested in both that pose pack and the futuristic suit.

    Bad news guys.
This pack is not compatible with Poser so there will be no Poser support for this expansion.
    I’m sorry for the inconvenient.

Dang it, I really liked it too. :( I won't buy it if I can't use it in Poser.

    That’s understandable.

I'm beyond excited about this! What a great product, and how well made. Can't wait to see his clothing too! =-)

I hope that the wings expansion (if that comes) will be workable in both platforms.
I am guessing that designing for two environments on something like this is beyond tricky.

Not sure if the suggestion box is still open so to speak, but looking at the latest render from Baryolax, it occurred to me that a pair or Velociraptor-esque claws would probably look good on him. :D

Velociraptor claws would be nice. Maybe for a later pack.

Supporting both DAZ and Poser is not that difficult, though it requires a bit of work and technical knowhow. The problem with this pack is the Geograft. A geograft figure, the way it works in DAZ, is not really compatible with Poser. I tried everything but all the geografts refused to work properly in Poser. I rather not release something then releasing a not functional product.

How much of the package is geograft? It is was just the tail add ons, I'd pay the full price for the fins and textures as a Poser user. We already missed on the Twisted Bunny, it'd be a shame to kill the Baryolax for Poser users over the tail bits. :(

Well, everything in the pack is a geograft except for new morphs that I didn’t show yet. Geografting was the only way to provide seamless new pieces that looked the way I wanted them to look.

In the meantime here’s another fun render with Baryolax. I can’t tell if he’s learning to ride a bike or if he’s flirting. Probably both.

Excellent! My Victoria Six HD, aka The Perfect Warrior, is ready and waiting for it. She's flexing her biceps and she has a pair of very, very sharp swords.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

Good to hear this! Should have the funds by that time. Been holding back on rendering something with this, because I need the option for those extra arms.

Also, good render. :) Is that your own custom pose or does Baryolax use Genesis 2 or Genesis poses? I assumed the tri-jointed legs would run into problems with those.

Yeah it’s a custom pose. Genesis poses don’t work well on him.

bought the ep when it came out only recently got around to using it so thought I'd show off what I did with it this time, didn't add extra parts this time like I did showed in your first commercial here just used your ep made me think of the classic Kraken from the 80's Clash Of The Titans really like this creature so much potential to use as a base to build on hope you plan more expansions with lots of different limbs, hands/claws, rib cages/bone structures, spikes, lower body replacements such as extra/different legs, snake lower torso, extra oh and mouth morphs to create a snarl. If not possible with this version if you could create another you could do this for but similar to this one as it is pretty cool base to work from be a great signature creature for you. When I was playing around with lighting few test renders made the eyes look really cool demonic/monster style white and black
had to resize it smaller for here
