Oh, no, it's that Caturday again. Ian is out camping with the Cub Scouts, but he'll see them Monday. Been cloudy all morning but now we've got sun. No rain so far today.

Since you are able to post, I have to vote for the other program to be the stupid one.
I had my dear little furbaby Felix euthanased today
nobody was talking me out of it the vet knew like me he would only have died a slow painful death otherwise.
He rubbed and purred for the first time for days on the table before the needle was put in the catheter and he just dosed off quicky to sleep.
He was 17 years old and for 16 &1/2 of those years led a very active fun filled life.
Will miss you mate :long:

hard as it is I know like Eddy aged 18 my Mums old cat a year after she died & Chingy 18 also before him my second ever cat he died being stroked and loved unlike Toby my very first cat who died in the house alone at about a year old or Mem who died horribly of snakebite at the vet in spite of all the effort to save her.
He was purring and rubbing to the last both me and the vet loving him.
Meanwhile Crystal my little 16 year old black cat is continually trying to use me as a chair, is now unimpeded by another.
I do not think she misses him as much even though she loved grooming him, I used get annoyed with two cats on the lap, I just hope I do not cop the licking now as she did when I first got her.
Took a bit to discourage that gently.
I am sorry about Felix. that is very sad.
Oh Wendy, that is sad. I know how you feel as it is not really that long ago that we lost Tiggy, who had been with us for more than 18 years, came to us as a tiny malnourished scrap of just over 5 weeks, and gave us many years of happy memories.
I love the 2 new ones to bits, but Tiggy was a character, and is still missed. I am sure the youngsters (nearly 4 now) would have loved to have known him.

I lost all of my fuzzy friends: three cats and 2 dogs inside the last 5 years. the cats and one dog to coyotes. one dog to age.
It's not easy saying goodbye. I haven't been able to welcome a new friend, but I will. Unconditional love is hard to find.
