Thanks for the information. Well I really like it, I am looking for some sets that can be used for renders during the roman empire and I mean not just courtyards and such stuff but real rooms and buildings.
Hmm, is it Iray or 3Delight? I do not know, with the preloaded distant light it is blending me with my standard light preset it looks great. Well the set seems to be awesome, what not fit my needs will be edited by me (if there is anything). Well, please continue the set with some rooms and corridors please, that is what I need :)
Cosmo, thanks for your feedback. I may extend the set, but not be for a while. Right now I'm working on another set. I'll show pictures when it's ready.
BOH is setup for iRay. I am new to iRay, so I don't know if adding the distant light is breaking the rules or not but it looked good to me so I left it in.
BTW- You can make some hallways and even a 4 way cross hall out of the pieces included.
2. Lower the ceiling to make a one story room.
3 Move the walls around or remove the stairs and use the option wall. You can make some smaller rooms.
Here's some examples, don't mind the super wide angle lens.
I bought this product but I'm only finding a runtime folder when I manually downloaded it. I always install files this way. Are there going to be any DS files so it shows up in the Content library?
In DAZ Studio, I think you need to add another content directory, a poser directory and all the .duf files will load.
Bought and downloaded last night, installed this afternoon and Archmage Serena is going to move in tomorrow morning.
Cheers,
Alex.
I needs just help for one thing. I render in 3Delight and the whole set works really well also in 3Delight, except the windows, can someone our you can help me. What values do I have to change so the windows are will look a bit brighter (so that it looks like daylight outsite)? I have no idea which values I do have to change for that. Normaly it was the Ambient setup but with these new shaders I have my problems.
So I need values for the windows for 3Delight.
I couldn't find a way to make them glow in 3dDelight either. You could try cutout opacity and make them invisible, then your environment would shine through.
Have an Idea :) just add the daz default shader to the windows and turn the ambient light to white and relativly high value (not tested right now but it should work, it works for other things)
yeap it`s under Poser Formats not under DAZ Formats
I do not want to cut out the windows (even a bit) because they look great as they are they just should "glow" a bit so it looks like daylight outside
Surely it is just the glass, not the windows that need to have a low Opacity setting
The default DAZ shader sounds like the way to go. I didn't try that.
It would be convenient if it showed up in the DAZ content folder as well because I use that all the time.
Some areas of the Poser runtime folder can be customized, like the libraries and prop folders. I set them up a long time ago so I could find things. All new installs need to be manual but at least I know where to find things.
You may find you might be able to move that shader to a more convenient place or up the hierarchy so you don't have to dig so deep. I'll bet it will work just fine sitting on the top level of the shader list.
The color palette is so very tasty!
I love the colours in this set, but I'm finding it a little limited to the oppulant hall configuration, it really seems to be only a few objects short of an actual construction kit, which is a pity.
Really wonderful detail and colours though. I only came to Daz early 2017, and had to have the BOH as soon as I saw it though.
Hey :)
Can you tell me how did you light up the scene?
Especially for the second image where the camera is looking down from the balcony, it's awesome.
