Well the G1 and G2 version of Fit Control are all in one product:) Same story for the male version (To be released a little later). Since G1 is unisex, the male version morphs will just add to the female release Fit Control under male specific sub-directory. So even if you do not use Genesis1, the morphs will be there in case you do decide to use it:) It was fairly easy to translate the data, so no need to make a separate G1 and G2 offering.

SOLD! I use deformers quite a bit, but this will be a big time saver i am sure, great job!

It's in the store and already in my Product Library now. I bought it immediately.

I have many of my G2F characters converted to G2M using GenX2. Will this product work on those G2F characters I've converted to G2M? Or will this product only work on the original G2F figure? I much prefer using one model so that I can mix male and female characters if necessary which is why I converted G2F to G2M.

Unfortunately not. I am only doing a version for Genesis1 and Genesis2Female. The male one will come later, but will have less morphs since he doesn't have breasts and major cling issues like females, which is essentially half the product. So I need to see if a male version is even viable.

Given that most of my renders are of males, this would be awesome! One thing you could try and accommodate to fill the product out is fitting over body hair?

I spend hours doing this kind of thing in Blender (sculpt mode). This will save me many of those hours from now on. Also, my way only works for an individual item (although I always save as morph assets when they work well).

A quick question though. When I use deformers or sculpting, I also adjust the default fit to one that fits my character without poke through. Does your product help for non-standard or dialled-in shapes (older, fatter, younger, flatter)?

Last point - a complaint: I already have everything I can use from your store already so the extra savings in today's sale don't offer me anything (bottom lip pout, stamps foot). ;)

For me, this is working much better than all the other products that I have that try to address the same issue with the breasts. Bravo!!!! :)
Here is my first attempt. I think it will be obvious which is "with" and which is "without". I may not have mastered all the settings yet, but I'm very happy with the results.
The explanation of how to use the product is well written and VITAL for using it. It is definitely a MUST READ. Thanks for referencing it on the product page so I knew to look for it.

I've always thought that some method of creating a "flat" texture from the 3D body hair would be very useful for under semi-transparent garments.

Ok - just read the user guide (which really is a must). A note is made there of something that I have come across when trying to create my own morphs: the crotch area adjustments just don't work with shorts. No matter how short, the thighs of the garment cling to the thighs of the figure. It might look fine in the sculpting program (Blender, in my case) but it doesn't work back in DAZ Studio.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to having some nicely fitted garments at last. Thanks.

The product is designed to pick up the figure it was originally designed for. EG if you load Genesis1, and click on Fit Control for G2F, the script will complain.

So, the only version of Fit Control that will work is the one designed for G2M. Now, unfortunately, I can not release a Male version with breast morphs lol. However, using GenX2, you could transfer the female morphs of Fit control over to G2M.

Hi Guys, thank you for the support. I have already started on the update morphs pack. I could not fit all in time for release. If you have any suggestions, please add them here and I will go through the list to see what can be added. The way this product is designed is that I can easily add more morphs to the list :cheese:
I could not run through every fitting scenario on my own, so if you come across something that might be useful, please voice your suggestions and I will go through them.

I tried to make the morphs as universal as possible. It was not a viable solution creating the morphs for specific shapes because that would mean the list would be ridiculously long. (Imagine the same set of morphs for all shapes lol.) So my approach was to design the morphs in a way that would work on multiple shapes. However if you see something that does not work on a specific shape, post the results so I can see what can be done.

I've had to put a prospective purchase of Ninive 6 aside, so that I can budget for this and Stonemason's upcoming Victorian London set. Absolutely must-have for renders involving female characters.

Out of interest, the promotional image showing how different layers of clothing can be stacked and have the morphs individually applied to them, to provoke 'poke-through'... How is this accomplished? I thought the morphs were only accessible for the G2F figure, not on individual clothing.

It is actually easier just to hide areas of the hair using the polygon selector tool. Basically you select the are of hair you wish to hide so only the areas you want visible are showing. To make clothing morphs that cover hair won't really work.

The morph list is copied to every item of clothing auto-fitted to the figure. The morphs on the figure are not meant to be touched. It is why they are hidden and have no real value. Those are the reference morphs. It was just created there and gets transferred onto the clothing. The script does the rest of the magic making them active on the clothing. So if I have two layers of clothing they will all have the same morph list, but the same morph can be dialed at different strength on each item. So for clothing layer two, I can dial the morphs that I will use to make it fit over the item underneath. Hope that makes sense.

Damn, that's clever... Much like Pose Builder, this will help with countless artistic problems, both past and present.

Already purchased and looking forward to experimenting with it later. :)

Yes, I get that and you are right - I wouldn't expect an endless list of compatible figures. I just wondered how flexible it is in conforming to morphs. After all, you do show some pretty large breast "enhancements" in your promo pictures so I'm assuming that other dialled-in morphs such as your Growing Up or even some basic weight or voluptuous dials wouldn't be a problem?

No doubt I'll get to see for myself now that I have it installed but I can't get any time on my pooter until Sunday at least.

They shouldn't be a problem to be honest. But a lot can also depend on how well the clothing item was made. Sometimes that aspect is out of my hands in the final result it produces. But on the larger scale of things, they work and do improve the results. But try it for yourself. The product will be used differently from user to user as everybody has different taste in figures and clothing. Best I could do was try and cater for all. This is why feedback is welcomed so I can try and add things I might have overlooked. :cheese:

I couldn't take advantage of your store sale either, because I already have pretty much all of your products that I'll use already too. However, where I use those often, I'll probably use this one daily. It's made so many old wardrobe items properly 'useable' that it's like having a ton of new products anyway.

I haven't stopped mucking about with it all morning (despite the fact that I should be doing other stuff instead!) and I still haven't touched on more than a fraction of what it can do. Already the Genesis females in 'POLICE' t-shirts look as professional as their male colleagues do now that they don't have to walk round looking like their tops are sprayed on over two melons having a fight in a carrier bag, although 'vice' are a lot less busy since all the rest of the girls have stacked vests or t-shirts under the low-cut 'street-corners-r-us' outfits usually available to them. Vice may get a bit busier again when I start playing with the underwear options though...

G2F maid has also got plenty to do now that the bib of her apron doesn't disappear up her cleavage every time she reaches for a duster, so she's happy. The only people left sulking now are the fellas, who want their version yesterday :) A big win all round, and probably the best Daz-related purchase I've made this year. Thank you :)

Almost the same as marble although when I do more stuff in Genesis there are some sets I'll need to pick up ;-)

I'm buying FIT CONTROL today, along with Growing Up (which has been on my Wishlist for ages, but this sale makes me an offer I cannot refuse). I'm also adding POSE BUILDER because I think it could really help streamline some of the projects I have in the queue.

I also want to add that one of the big reasons I made these purchases is because of this discussion in the Forum. You are very open and honest about what the product can and cannot do. I won't name names, but a few months ago I decided not to order a product because the programmer was a jerk in the forums and basically treated any question about the product's output as an insult. He claimed the product did something and, when more than one person observed that it didn't actually do it (or questioned how well it did it), he kind of threw a tantrum and said that we were wrong and that the shortcomings were intentional. It was a nasty experience, to say the least, and cost him more than one sale. So, once again, thanks to you for being open, honest and friendly.

I'm VERY interested in a Male Version of this product, as 85% of my renders are of males in historical settings (Zombies, Westerns and Pirates, specifically). I do a few superhero and fantasy illustrations, and some females, but cowboys, zombies and pirates are the bulk of my interest right now. As such, I've got specific needs that I'm frequently having to fix in post work right now (or with deformers, but sometimes post work is a faster fix).

    - Like others have mentioned, I've got problems with the "balloon shoulders" in shirts.
    - Ditto for balloon butts and huge (or excessively tight) waistlines when bending in a crouch or riding a horse.
    - Normal fitting adjustments like thigh poke-through, belly poke through, and the shirt-waistline intersection are also issues to be addressed
    - Collars are also a big problem: I would love the ability to open them in a convincing manner, including some small wrinkles around the front button. This might be too difficult to do, but perhaps you could create morphs that open the neck hole ONLY on the horizontal plane? Too many morphs actually make the neck hole larger by increasing the scale of the geometry around the neck, creating that balloon effect and pushing the collar up under the jaw.

One big problem I have is with vests. A lot of my characters wear them, and convincingly fitting them over shirts is almost impossible. In fact, it's become such an issue that I've considered going back to Poser so I can use dynamic cloth to improve the fit. The ability to increase/decrease the vest's fit in zones (L-Armpit, R-Armpit, L-Side-All, L-Side-Top, L-Side-Bottom, R-Back-Neck, etc.) would be awesome.Without a doubt, vests are one of the most annoying things to fit properly, and any sort of assistance would be wonderful.

BELTS are a problem, too. These aren't too difficult to fix with deformers, but since you mentioned you were looking for features to add, I thought I'd mention them.

Finally, and this may be out of scope for your product, the feature I really want is to fix the "Sprayed On" look of sleeves and trousers. All button-down shirts look sprayed on because there are no wrinkles in the armpits or the elbows (or if they are there, they cannot be increased/decreased). This tightness is okay for bodysuits and superhero costumes, but the default fits make it look like everyone is wearing spandex all the time. The ability to add adjustable inner wrinkle morphs at elbows, knees, crotch and armpits would be a wonderful tool (and yes, I do have Wrinkle 3D http://www.daz3d.com/wrinkle-3d, but having it all in one tool as mart of a simple morph dial would make this a must-have product for me).

Thanks for listening. I apologize if I wasn't clear in some of my requests, and if you want any sample images to illustrate what I'm talking about, just let me know.

And, thank goodness this is a three-day weekend so I'll be able to play with my new toys!

This might be another product rather than a feature but if you could devise some way to help skirts into a sitting position it would save me even more hours toiling with a deformer or sculpting program.

Some of the vendors have come up with morphs which fit commonly available pose sets but these garments are usually expensive and not that practical if you "pose your own". So I usually end up making the dress fit my own pose in Blender. As I say - hours of work to avoid a skirt which looks like a sheet-metal cylinder set at an angle. The "draped" effect is why dynamic clothing was invented but that has its own problems which make conforming clothes still more convenient.

The worst is a dress with pleats or vertical folds. They don't bend naturally on conforming cloth and again look like corrugated sheet metal that has been machine shaped into a curve.

I'm looking through the promo pictures in the store - unsurprisingly difficult to find any dresses in a seated pose. I can't post one of my own because I'm not at my DAZ Studio computer.

This is one of the few vendors who has dared to show a seated pose. Even so, you can see what I mean about sheet metal.

The image of aggressive melons trapped in a bag is cracking me up!

On a serious note, I look forward to purchasing this product, especially to aid me in layering clothing, as I find it frustrating when tops poke through sweatshirts or jackets.
