As an aside, Zev0's aging morphs are in my short list of absolutely vital items for making regular-looking humans. (I mention this because it's part of the fit control group sales)
After having gotten Fit Control in the afternoon and tried it out, at 10.00pm Friday I decided to see how it looked in Reality 4.
[strike]By 5.00am Saturday I was ready for bed and while the pose and settings still need a lot of work :red: Fit Control itself adds a whole new degree of realism.[/strike]
Bravo, Zev0 :cheese:
EDIT: added a "before" and "after" for comparison ;-P
Here are before and afters of Fit Control on the Sweater (Breast morphs), Hair (Underwear Show Breast morphs) and Skirt (Underwear Crotch morphs).
Fit Control allowed me to greatly reduce the distortion on the sweater text and make the sweater drape better below the breasts. I like it.
I used Fit Control underwear morphs to move the hair out of her breasts. In the "No Fit Control" version, you can see the hair ends disappearing into her breasts. Now, this is a nice AprilYSH hair, so i probably could have found morphs in the hair itself to help this, but I accidentally discovered the Fit Control morphs in the hair and wanted to see what they would do.
The skirt has smoothing locked off by the vendor. I left it that way to see what I could do without it. I tried the crotch morphs to remove the small lump/dent. I'm not sure I did much good with this attempt . I'm sure this would have been more successful if I had unlocked smoothing and turned it on.
Here is a tip I learned: Apply a plaid or gingham shader to the top that you want to adjust. It helps you figure out the best settings for the breast morphs, because you can see how each one affects distortion of the mesh. I found this easier than looking at a textured wireframe view, which I tried first. When done adjusting, apply the material that you want for your final render.
That's a brilliantly simple tip!
Really looking forward to playing with these tonight. :)
Thanks Zev0! This will breathe life into a lot of clothing I wasn't using. Great promo pics as usual.
Whups - oohdear - <headdesk>
Just realised I need to have D|S4.7 to use this, I'm stuck on 4.6 for the moment so I'll have to wait until 4.8 comes out of beta. :red:
I'm concerned about Fit Control inflating the size of my saved scene files tremendously. Can that be fixed?
I had a scene with one G2F with clothes, hair and jewelry. The original scene was 433 KB. After running the Fit Control script and saving the scene (I didn't even dial and morphs), the scene was 31,467 KB! What is Fit Control doing to make the scene grow so much. It is also much slower to save the scenes.
If I save characters or save clothing as a support asset, will they be similarly increased in size?
I bought this tool and used .I think this tool is really really great!
I thank Zev0.
I wish adding exposing hip morph like expose crotch.
Sorry my poor English.
Thanks!
It should work in 4.6. Reason I said 4.7 is because I have that version and don't know if it will work in anything prior since I cannot test. I cannot say 4.6 if I didn't personally test it in that version  I don't think scripts are affected.
Expose hip in what way?

I noticed the script is a .dse file, doesn't that mean it's been saved encrypted? That tends to lock-in the program compatibility so that it's always a bit of a coin-toss whether it'll work in an earlier version of D|S.
Here's the error I get in the log file, after the usual vague "an error occurred" popup appears:
Bummer, then I guess 4.7 is the min requirement.
OK then, I'm in no hurry, I can wait until I can get 4.8 installed.
I only tried it out briefly but so far it seems to work very well & is highly versatile. I used to do similar work using D-Formers & custom morphs but this is much faster & the morphs are excellent quality. I'm so glad it works on G1, since I never got into G2.
Great idea. That is similar to the standard way of checking UV maps, which is to use a checker pattern.
Expose hip in what way?
Sideways.
There is "rear down" morph. But there isn't slide side morph around hip.
So I hope - like "slide hip side L" morph.
This script looks very interesting! :)
I do not make content but I would like to know if a personal outfit to which the Fit Control morphs would be transferred may be offered for free or sold in a store? unless they would only work with the script...
My apology if my question was stupid...
Not a stupid Question. The morphs may not be distributed as is in any form. However I will make allowances for baking the morphs into the clothing as a final fit solution. EG use them to adjust the clothing item, then export that as a clothing shape or FMB. I will review\clarify the do's and don'ts again at a later stage.
Thank you very much for your answer. It is very much appreciated. It is exactly the way I would use the morphs if I wanted to use them in a redistributed outfit! I effectively agree that the original morphs must not be shared with anybody.
Thank you for your help... :)
Damn you Zev0!! Just....damn you!!! You just HAD to make THE perfect morphing solution at a time when money is thin (or I could just check into the forums every once in a while to check on upcoming products so I can save for it. But then again the fun lies in blaming others right? haha). Guess it's Ramens for the rest of the week lol.
Seriously though this is such an awesome product. So many clothing products I've passed on due to having no movement, "expose", shrink, etc. morphs in them. Time to re-think that train of thought now with this. I know the main focus is to make smoother fits for the breast (esp. larger ones) but I still need to practice a little more on the fine tunings there to get the results you achieved in your promos.
Also time to start digging through my current library so I can inject these morphs & save as morph assets so they're in there permanently. Works great of V4 clothing on G2F too which is a huge plus. Just wish you could save those as morph assets too (c'mon daz help us out with that lol). Tried to export the cr2 but when I put the outfit on again it goes through all the weight mapping errors due to being saved on a g2f figure then won't even work. That's alright I'll just make sure to inject the morphs everytime I need them.
I think you mentioned something about upcoming updates & suggestions. One person already beat me to a bra lift up. I 2nd that option lol. Maybe a glute width option to go along with the crotch width or a bra down for strapless items. However now that I think about it the Front Height 2 option does a decent job at the latter.
Anyway sorry for the novel. Massive thanks to you for this product & all your other products. Keep up the awesome work!
Eh? If you convert V4 (or any other) clothing to G2F (or M or G1) in DS, you CAN save it in DS format as a support asset. In fact it's recommended that you should, then actually use a freshly loaded one of the saved conversion, not the original conversion, as morphs etc in the original conversion tend to go peculiar. I think you need to check how you are going about saving as a support asset.
AIUI (have bought it but not tried it yet) Zev0's product here actually writes the new morphs into the data folder as it creates them, so once added to a particular item of clothing (that's already in DS format) the morphs will still be there on future uses. Is that not so?
when will there be a version for the G2 Male(s) figure?
OK, it doesn't save the new morphs for you. My mistake - something I read in the manual or this thread gave me the impression once in the clothes they remained in without further user action, but clearly one does need to save the morphs if one wants them in the clothes for future use. Might perhaps be worth a short paragraph at the end of the manual/help file about saving as morph assets if wanted.
Hey David thanks a lot for the tip to actually CONVERT v4 outfits to g2f. I've googled & googled for how to convert instead of using autofit all the time in the past and just now but the only things that ever came up was through autofitting. Google isn't always your friend. After you mentioned saving it as an asset I looked through all the asset options again and realized Figure/Prop option. DUH!!!! Still a lot to learn here. Thanks again worked like a charm!!
My memory is very foggy these days, so this may be based on muddled recollections, but ...
I think that if you save the scene after adding the morphs to the clothing without first saving the morphs as morph support assets, then the scene file has to contain ALL the new morph details (basically big lists of vertex deltas for each morph - of which there are quite a few) for each clothing item). This will massively increase the size of the scene .duf file.
If, after adding the morphs to the clothes, then for each clothing item you save the new morphs as morph support assets (i.e. .dsf files, one per morph, containing the deltas for the morphs in the data directory), then (a) the scene .duf file only has to contain one line per morph containing just the reference to the .dsf data morph file and the value instead of a honking great list of the deltas, so the scene file will be hardly bigger than before; and (b) the morphs will already be in the clothing next time you load a fresh version without having to put them in again.
So, after creating the morphs in the clothing, save them as morph support assets and THEN save the scene. You should see you then do not get the huge scene file.

The benefit of saving as assets is it avoids duplicating the data, the downside is that it adds data to the Data folder and adds parameters (hidden, I think, but a lot of people show hidden more or less by default) to the clothing. I'd suggest saving morphs you expect to use often on clothes you expect to save often as assets while leaving one-offs embedded in the scene files.
Using Autofit to put V4 clothes on G2F IS converting them (although they can also be converted by turning them to weight mapped versions and then either using Transfer utility or doing it by hand), so your googling was actually correct. At the end of the Autofit process, what you have is a converted-to-G2F conversion of the clothes. And then, as you've now discovered, you just save as a Figure/Prop support asset to save the G2F version of the clothes. And once you've done that, you can then save the Fit Control morphs for them too as with the natively G2F clothing.
I am hoping to get most of the morphs done by this week. Still have lots to add to all 3 versions:) So in a way I am juggling them all at once:))
I'm assuming this product won't work in Poser. Any chance you might adapt it to work in Poser?
It looks like a fantastic (and well needed) product that I'd really like to use.
No Poser support unfortunately.
Maybe I'm just a total idiot :D but I can't find the script icon to load the thing. Can someone please inform me, or post a screenshot? Can't quite figure it out from the tutorial :(
