Any Kim Kardashian look a likes please?

This is the only one I'm aware of -

There are also a few more for older models (Victoria 4 and Genesis 2) if that's any use.

When I first saw the 3D model I thought, "Hey Patsy!" (Trish Walker) from Jessic Jones.

I see a bit of her too. Patsy aka Rachael Taylor's a really gorgeous woman.

And speaking of Jessica Jones, I thought I'd finally share this here. I've lost motivation in updating my Rendo store with new stuff due to issues with PayPal in the doggone country I'm resided in ;)

Hopefully that shall pass. She made a fairly good impression on the launched month, and her sale produced my first ever Rendo montlhly paycheck. So that was great.

I'll buy that it's certainly the intent. Especially with the hard sell on all the promo images. But not the best likeness of a celebrity out there.

Still, I couldn't do better from scratch. So I'm one to throw stones.

The G3F version looks closer in my eyes, but it's probably just the screwy way my brain is "wired".

    Sincerely,

Wow, I love it. Unfortunately not enough, since I've long since abandoned V4 and hate doing the work necessary to convert all the way to G8.

Still a beautiful piece of work. I don't really like the looks of Rachael Taylor. She was alright in the first two seasons but looked anorexic in the third. To each their own though.

Don't get me wrong, I like skinny just fine. But I find her only somewhat attractive and she managed to diminish that with what I suspect was a training regimen to look more athletic for the third season.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. Yea you could say I'm still one of those artists hung on Poser & V4 yet. But I do myself moving on to DAZ & G8 in the near future, just not yet :)

I'm with you on Trish Walker on Season 3. I just started it watching it, & on episode 3. Not feeling it either so far.

Hey its cool I got you :)

Thanks everyone! Finished up my commsion project yesterday (available on my Gumroad now if you're interested), so I'll begin working on Daisy again shortly. Given the interest shown so far, I will certainly finish the project. Will still be a few weeks away before she's ready for release though

    Cheers!

    Daniel

Any progress on Daisy? I just watched 'The Force Awakens' again, and I'd love to see a top-notch likeness of her, which you seem to be making.

Don't worry, she's still underway! The release of Daz Studio 4.11 introduced some issues with displacement in my previous products so I've had to go back and do some updates. The displacement for Daisy has also now been updated to work correctly with 4.11 so I'm back on track.

While I'm here, does anyone have suggestions for hair that could work well for Daisy Ridley? I'm not very familiar with female content

Great to hear that Daisy is still on her way, I've really liked what you've done with your other characters so far so looking forward to see what you do with her.

As for hair, well that's the question isn't it?  She does have one signature look but that's not so straight forward.  There is a 'Rey' hairstyle from The Force Awakens available over on rendo but it is for Victoria 4 and poser (though it does say that you can fit it to Victoria 8 by parenting it to the head and using a morph) so if you can use it you will need to use separate Iray shaders.  The venders store seems to be on sale at the minute so this might actually be good timing!

     https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/hr-202/127102/

As for other hair because she is a model as well as an actress she often changes the style and even colour of her hair but a few that I've seen that look similar to a few pictures of her are:

    Starlette Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/starlette-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females

    MEGA Updo Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/mega-updo-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females

HY Wavy Bob Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 - https://www.daz3d.com/hy-wavy-bob-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8

    Haydina Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/haydina-hair-for-genesis-8-females

Sylvia Tied Bun Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/sylvia-tied-bun-hair-for-genesis-8-females

    Taylor Hair For Genesis 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/taylor-hair-for-genesis-8-female-s

    Jackie Hair For Genesis 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/jackie-hair-for-genesis-8-females

    and

    Sprite's Leisure Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s) - https://www.daz3d.com/sprites-leisure-hair-for-genesis-8-females

Another style I've seen quite often is a long sleek hair-do that she tucks behind her ears but I've not found one that looks close to her's yet....... and boy do I sound like I'm obsessed with Miss Ridley's hair!  LOL

Anyway hopefully that helps a bit and I'm sure everyone else will find much better ideas than mine if you're not convinced.

May the Force be with you (seems appropriate)

    Stu

Naughty Mohawk isn't a perfect match for her Force Awakens/Rise of Skywalker hairstyle, but it kind of has the same vibe: https://www.daz3d.com/naughty-mohawk-for-genesis-3-females

Male Feather Hair (minus the feather prop) is a fair lookalike for the half-up/half-down look she wears in the second half of Last Jedi, but you would need iray hair shaders, and to be comfortable using prop hairs that parent to the head and need to be resized or moved to fit properly: https://www.daz3d.com/feather-male-hair-1

If you're a platinum club member here, they would be pretty cheap.

No worries, Stu! I'm a bit obsessed about all of Miss Ridley, not just her hair. Those are some nice hair selections, by the way!

Latest render testing with some kitbashed hair and additional strands created with Ornatrix. Very rough and low poly at the moment, but I think it gets the look across.

My thoughts exactly, right down to the part where I'm not sure whether the name tipped me. I think she looks like Paquin in some of the promos, but in others not at all... on the one with the fancy hat she kinda looks like Emma Stone, no?

In a few of them I can see some resemblance but not in most of those promos.

I would not argue with that in the slightest. And wouldn't it be nifty if after you're done with her you tackled her predecessor? Carrie Fisher in her heyday? Or is that just the completionist in me?

    Must have all the clones!

Probably. Although imo there could be a fair bit of Maria Callas in there as well.

Hi all. I am a lover of celebrity 3d modeling. Dial spun. Sometimes it takes a while to get a person right. It takes research into the actors being.

I have been working on my creation of Miley Cyrus. Now Miley changes her look almost daily, so I had to pick certain identifying morphs and such to get her where you know who she is. I have changed her so many times because Iray has an effect on the person you are rendering with different lights. One light she will look just like her, change the light and she looks noit even the same. So I have had to work with other identifying factors. So, I chose her smile and mouth since it is unique and one of a kind. Then I realized...wait!.....Miley has identifyable tatoos. There are none available for download, so I had to make my own from images of Miley. Using photoshop, I was able to capture a copy of each tatoo and place it on the texture of her I made from her actual skin. Then removing all the areas around the tatoo.

I have all the tatoos she has now, but she may add more...lol. This will make her identifyable for sure.

In the render I posted here, there are other tatoos on the other side of her body. The very large "dream catcher" is there. Also, you can't see this because of Daz rules on nudity, but I used her actual nipples on her breasts even. Also, it was tough making the exact eye iris color for her since it is also unique. A greyish bluegreen.

Here is what I have. I posed her so you could see most of the tatoos. Hope you all like her.

  • Keep in mind, I am guessing here. So don't take my word as gospel. However, I do fancy myself knowledgeable in celebrity faces.
