    Right - at the moment the icons are back and the notifications are working!

    It was originally intended to be a close-up, but I decided to test it from the POV of the opposing railing and the character just made the scale pop. Reminded me of a canyon shot. My desktop wallpaper was born. :D

    Still can't upload images (not on desktop, MacBook or iPad)...  but I do see the forum icons in Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

    I had to wait hours to upload images the past several days. I'd do the post, get the perpetual uploading, X out and come back a few hours later and it would work. (An hour wouldn't.)  Why can't they leae things alone? The icons are back at the moment though (had square boxes.)

    Icons have been back all day for me in Firefox, but the upload didn't work when I tried it.

    ..same here.  Really need to be able to upload some images on another forum to better illustrate the issues I'm having with changing shaders on a product.

    And I still can't upload any images.... 

    Does using an image hosting site make sense?... I'm not holding out hope for this being a priority of any sort.

    I hadn't thought of that... a few years ago when DAZ's forum image uploading was broken for a really long time, I used a thread at HiveWire similar to the one I made in the Art Studio forum, to hold my images... most were for my Freebie announcement posts, but some were just random dumb images.... unfortunately when HiveWire's forum got hacked, all the images were lost when they were forced to redo their forums... I suppose Rendo is a lot more established then HW at the time, so it's probably not much of a worry.

    So IS DAZ aware of the uploading issues?

    If this is going to be blamed on the forums software again and nothing is to be done, I see little use in staying around these forums, not to mention the store, really. What's the word?

    Earlier today, when I was at work, they were also missing from the Intro page https://www.daz3d.com/ but now I see them there.

    So, according to the moderators, this thread is officially about forum uploading being broken. Maybe somebody should change the title? And yes, things broke down again.

    Nope, I started the thread because the icons were missing. I didn't know or care about the upload problems. As far as I am concerned, the issue is solved, case closed. Start your own thread if you want.

    I don't know why these two topics were combined. The icon problem may be solved but the upload feature still is BROKEN

    Because they are all forum issues and both are being discussed in this thread. The thread title has been updated to reflect the other problems as well. Sorry, that was an oversite on our part.

    Uploading an image to the forum is broken since the end of last year. Are there any plans to bring this option back?
    If not, please remove the "Attach a file" link. Watching "Uploading..." for hours without anything happening is not very entertaining.

    I haven't had any probs uploading images like everyone else ... very strange cool

    everything seems fine in the workshop so far yes

    Broken is broken... Image uploading is broken, file uploading is broken, avatar updating is broken, the toilet seat in the lavatory by IT is broken, for some people it seems icons are still broken... so as long as "missing" or "broken" is in the complaint description, it goes here.

    Amelia Earhart and Jimmy Hoffa are still missing too, so please direct any further inquiries as to their missingness to this thread.

    Also the keys to my van are not where I left them, so I'm gonna mention that here too... they look like car keys with a black plastic remote thingie that unlocks the doors and causes honking noises if you push the red button... they also smell like dead crab because I left them in the center console with a bunch of crab shells and claws on a hot day.

    @McGyver (yeah, like notification has any hope of working!) I smelled your keys at the Walmart over in Poughkeepsie. They're open until 11 PM. You still have time to retrieve them today, but without keys, you'll probably have to take an Uber to get there. It might not be worth the cost. Just buy a new van. Good luck.
