    Great job, ioonrxoon, on both of your images!

    * * *

    As for my contribution to the investigation into the case, I wasn't sure about the rules (postwork allowed or not?), so I'm sharing both the picture as it was published by the local tabloid and unaltered image from the reporter who took it and whom my team has tracked down with great effort. I doubt the woman knows what actually in the case, but she definitely knows it's valuable.

    Greetings, Sir Hubert Bottomley.
    We of the Xaliute Empire have seen your soicitation and would like to be of service. Quite by accident we created the Briefcase you seek and released it into your world. We do not know its 'current' (in your terms) 'location' (also in your terms.) However, we can produce it for you if you will, in return, supply us with many (around 10,000) of the cheap golden chickens. We have many buttons, and can make most things, but not the chickens.
    Best Regards

    After completing his delivery rounds, Bobby Woo spotted an eerie glow coming from under a sewer access cover in the back alley. Could that be the hiding place of the True Case? Unfortunately, with his extremely poor crowbar technique, he is unlikely to solve the mystery today.

    @joanna Thanks!

    The Maltese Chicken

    Things are getting complicated with more and more cases, chickens and bananas showing up - while they're so much fun and creative, we need to find out which one is the genuine article.
    Time to bring in The Detective; his rates may be high, but he's sure to crack the case of the maltese chicken.

    (Sorry, I promise to try and refrain from doing too many bleeding obvious movie based entries... but they're so much fun to do!)

    if you don't mind me asking, what kind of poses u have there on mousso model, can u tell me what product is it?

    Hi. I did not use any preset. I used the Power Pose tool for only bending the articulations and some twisting to cross the feet (because the reference photos I saw required that).

    After I bent the legs and feet I rotated the hip and bent the neck to point to the case.

    The right arm was only extending the sections, but because I still do not understand the mechanics of the shoulder I opted to use the Inverse Kinematics on the right arm. I pinned the torso so it did not move the rest.

    The last step was again using Power Pose to move the eyes, and close a bit the hands with the option to curl the fingers and make a grip on all the hand.

    Here is the X-Ray security footage taken from that event. It was deleted when the case was stolen, but now some experts recovered it.

    The other products are https://www.daz3d.com/vo-xiao-hua-hd-and-hair-for-genesis-81-female hair, AI-generated background, and the case modeled by me in Blender.

    Reviewing security x-rays

    "Sir! This woman has no bones at all!"

    "Oh, she's got bones, private. Fully rigged, too! Probably a G8 or even one of the new G9s they're fielding."

    Slams hand on desk "Get me the President."

    This is a really fun contest, I'm very much enjoying all the entries I've seen! ^_^

    On the Case of the Case

    These detectives have been given a very important mission: find the missing mysterious briefcase! It could be anywhere! But wait, what’s this? What is that one chimp in front up to? Is he playing a prank, or is he a double agent? The plot thickens!

    Rendered in Daz Studio Iray.

    Postwork in Pixelmator.

    Welcome to paradise, ladies!

    Nothing weird going on in here this time, just something sunny to brighten up the lousy weather that's been around here over the past few weeks.

    The third one was my favorite, but all were great. I can tell you put a lot of effort into creating them, and the work paid off with results.

    Hi ioonrxoon I wanted to make you aware that for this competition you need one of the original April fools items in your rendered image, the chicken and/or the case (honorable mention by Totte needs the banana item), If you missed the original case you can still grab that in the first post of this thread. there is still time until end of April

    Oooh, but the case is there. More than once, actually. A very creative way to use it too. ;)

    @Linwelly There are 5 cases in there pretending to be a (probably very uncomfortable) chair.
