    It doesn't look like Karen Fukuhara has ever played a character named Kana, which I believe is part of the HID look-alike calling card.

    Historically, almost all of HID's Asian characters have been original characters, so I'd imagine Kana is as well.

    Hm, I don't know that's necessarily true for every single release... although, she also played Katana in "Suicide Squad" (Kana/Katana... close enough???) :P

    Height is where it gets sketchy, though. Kana is 4'12 and Karen Fukuhara's from what I've seen online, ranges from 5'0 to 5'2 approximately. So, who knows... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Given that 4'12" is a conversion error for 5'...

    I wouldn't put stock in naming conventions either, unless a figure artist explicitly states that's something they do. Especially since situations can arise (eg. previously existing character models already using all the logical picks) where make it impossible.

    She’s been in horror movies like “Twilight”, “Case 39”, “Silent Hill”… which match the overall vibe/theme of the promos. The blue hair is most likely from a cosplay she did as Coraline (also ref. the “button eyes” promo), could be from her role in “Dark Matter”, too. She’s also played young Carrie (Cary=Carrie?) in a remake of the movie. :)

    She also had blue/green hair when she played Five in Dark Matter.
