    On a smaller scale, I don't need to. Maine Coon cats have a lot of the same behaviour patterns, and our one sits on and head butts us. At his size it can be wearisome.

    I wish there was a way to get rid of the ads on the forums.  Maybe make it a DAZ+ perk?

    Use an adblocker. Making it a DAZ+ perk has already been suggested but so far to no avail.

    Complaint: Now I get a nearly full page sized ad when opening this forum!  It pops up in the center of the screen!  Pretty soon they'll be pushing video ads on us!   angry  Are they trying to get rid of us all?

    North Carolina State which put my #2 Marquette Golden Eagles run for the NCAA championship (in that other March Madness) to an end, just did the same to #4 Duke.

    The last time they made it to the final four (and went on to win it all) was in 1983 under the late and now legendary coach, Jim Valvano who died of cancer ten years later.

    This is what it looks like!!!  And I have a 4K monitor...it's still this large!  The browser is almost full screen!

    As a Duke fan I was disappointed that they lost; but was glad to see NC State continue their almost unbeliveable run. They have really come alive in the last month and at least the ACC still has one team in the final 4. Go Wolfpack!

    This isn't the only site that has those annoying pop up ads.

    actually there was a video ad here but it only happened once and hopefully only once.

    I'm running Firefox with the security set to 'Strict' and I don't see any ads, in fact I had to switch to Edge to even see what everybody was talking about when the first reports started appearing in the forums. Apparently the Strict security setting may cause issues on some sites but I've not encountered any noticeable issues.

    You're right.blush  See, he's been gone so long that my dementia has kicked in.  But that other guy (George McGovern) still floats around in my head, I mourned him when he departed the scene too, after he'd lost the election (a half century ago).frown
