...that's better than the results I've been getting with both Fit Control and the Projection Morph Master.
While setting up the examples I discovered a rather frustrating matter. When I rendered the character in a profile stance to show the bust size I am working with, I noticed an odd bulge in the centre of the character's chest as if some sort of clothing smoother is active that is causing an unwanted distortion. I have no Idea where it is upcoming from as I looked through all the hidden morphs and JCMs but found nothing I could see that would be causing this
What I find odd is when I fit G3F clothing to the character using autofit, the bulge doesn't appear only with G8F clothing . I spent a several hours trying to track this down but to no avail and have no Idea what is causing this. I'll try and post an image of this later as again it is late where I am and I have t be up in a few hours.
Never seen this happen before and it doesn't occur with other characters I've developed (including ones with smaller busts). . I really don't want to have to rebuild the character from scratch.
I do have problems of clothing stretch & bulge with this G8F character:
She has a very small chest as can be inferred from the 'Handbra' promo (above) for the freebie I did in freestuff, and that distorts all sorts of clothes. Would be nice if there was something to cure it. Matt_Castle's efforts look pretty good, must say.
Regards,
Richard
...the bulge I am seeing doesn't cause the distortion above but actually pokes out abnormally from between the breasts at the lower centre of the chest. Again I've found no active hidden morph causing this, nor such am adjustment morph within the clothing's "Actor" settings tree.SOme cloghign actually has a centre smoother that can be adjusted but mosd dfoes not.
The perplexing and frustrating part is I've never had this happen before with this particular character until; the other night.
Example attached using Kawaii Overalls (this dress does not have a separate control for the centre smoother)
Yeah, that's a common problem with more petite breasts, and one of the main things I'm expecting to need to fix with this tool.
That is because morph projection essentially matches the changes to the nearby parts of the base mesh - and the sternum isn't changing as the breasts are reduced.
...looking forward to this.
Apparently a portion of newer female clothing is including a "smoother" built into the chest area mesh to mitigate the "saran wrap" look but in only few instances is there a control to reduce it. What I find odd is there is a centre chest smoother in 3DU's Message Magic clothing (which has no slider) as it is primarily intended for young characters. Not sure if dForce takes it out (the clothing is listed as being dForce but also works as conforming) as I have recently been experiencing display driver crashes when running sims.
..I would think the eternum bone is separate from the breasts as I have Zev0's Breast Control (and a couple other breast shaping utilities) which doesn't deal with the sternum, just cleavage. I've only seen this happen more recently with clothing content when I try to fit is to more petite or younger characters. It doesn't whow up in the unclothed character (which of course I cannot post an attachment of) just wshen the clothing is fitted.
For example, one clothing set, the Boho Dress for G3F (which I converted to G8) does have a slider for the centre smoother. Meanwhile the Basicwear Tank Top and Sports Bra for G8F doesn't, and actually deforms pretty badly when fitted to a character with a smaller bust circumference (worse than the example I attached above)
There needs to be some type of universal tool that can be used to reduce the smoother since it is apparently a permanant part of the clothing mesh and does not have a sepaate slider.
