If it was dangerous, it wouldn't be friend-shaped!

The Question on everyone's mind is What is fried Asina on a Stick?   Please note consumption can cause insanity to many levels. It's best paired with Hot sauce.

The only problem I'm having with this is that the Banana Suit costs twice as much as it did last year; 100% inflation!

All this talk of ASINA and Relics reminded me of something that happened years ago in the middle of the night. Relatives convinced me at the time it was sleep paralysis, but then looking through some old photos I found the proof it was real and I didn't imagine it!

I think they want us to know they are here!

    You are bugs!

Side note: I was rushing to finish this because I thought it needed to be finished by the end of the day, but it looks like we have until the 30th! I'm sure there will be many more forgotten relic sightings to come!

I started something but froze up Carrara in the vertex room

(not working on the Asina but assigning shading domains to a tiered cake stand to replicate them on)

was going to have them mimicing chocolate starfish

    Video Game Relic

Added some rigging and expressions to ASINA, rendered in DAZ Studio.  "Relic Hunter" modelled by yours truly with materials borrowed from ASINA.

LOL.  Must be a side effect of entering a virtual world.

Pac-Man! I wish I had thought of that. My mind went straight to Starro for some reason.

Actually mine went to Tribbles first (maybe b/c of the furriness).  But the idea evolved as I was making expressions.

So the mouth and eyes are not morphable to change expressions? and New Guy, what did you rig, the body or eyes and mouth.

  • NewGuyNewGuy Posts: 188

@Faeryl_Womyn, I'm not sure I want to dispel too much of the inner workings of the relics.  wink If you load it up you can see that it is a simple prop.  I used Blender and DS to make morphs for the expressions.  I converted the prop to a figure and rigged the tentacles/legs? with 3 bones each so they could be posed.  The expressions involved a bit of extra work because I had to make new mask textures for the opacity channel so the fur would work properly with each expression.  Basically I took the ASINA relic and made it into a rudimentary character.  Sorry, that functionality is not present in the original model, hence the mutations...

Hey dudes, just a quick update -

Daz has obviously purged the original set, so i've pinned a new version to the original post on page one. I've added some movements and emotive morphs to my original figure to try and shamelessly rip off Newguys work. @NewGuy Is being a good egg though, and he's agreed to share his weight-mapped version soon (probably tomorrow). I'll pin his version to the main post as soon as i get it.

    As you were detectives cool
