P.S. Love the socks. But somehow I have the feeling they only got to be that pretty pink colour after he put 'em in the wash with his kilt. Maybe he oughta get some help with his laundry?
Really like the man in the kilt with the socks! Great expression and motion blur on that fan.
I suspect he just likes pink socks though... You can't really put your kilt in the wash, unless you like your kilt ultra-tiny. They are pure wool and well... Dryclean only.
@Byrdie - nope, they come in a pack of 5 different colours

So, I finally had time to break away from work and actually sit down and focus on a scene. This is my first ever serious render that I have not deleted. I spent more time on angle, positioning, decorations, and his pose then I did on lighting. I am sure that I could add more realism by dimming the lights and relying on the fire, but I am too new to figure out how to do that right now and I still struggle with proper lighting even with a bunch of presets. What do you think? If you see something that I need to work on then point it out!

What is this mythic creature called a shoe store clerk? I haven't seen one in years! Now its fend for yourself amongs the stacks of boxes.... Hrm... but Prince charming the shoe store clerk has some appeal as render concept.
