    A bit of tangential question: when Daz is saying "Membership end on [date]", does it means I'll still be a member on the date it's said to end ? The FAQ also state "until your expiration date." but I spend a couple of minutes trying to search about the meaning of until and it's even more complicated in my mind now that I did…

    This. That's what I was wondering if we could do with the sculpting tools. If we can create HD morphs, I'm very interested. If not, meh. I'll just continue my workflow as is. 

    SAME.  For that heftly monthly fee I would bite but with just the enhance Mesh Grabber, which is the ONLY thing that SLIGHTLY temps me I'll stay at my current teir of the 10 bucks a month and not even sure if I NEED that to be honest.

    Exactly.  pay up or you can't use your content or tools.  Seems like a rip off to me.  I guess they are treating this like having insurance.  You don't have your car insured you can't drive it legally.  This is DIGITAL content DAZ, not a physical item so this just seems really sketchy to me.

    I have my Daz + subscription ending on April 2025 and Daz is offering me to switch to Premier for just 1paid month??? It's $60 of value of my existing DAZ+ subscription vs $19 of one month Premier subscription......No, thanks!

    I love a deal and I love buying content. But I do not love having 11 months of Daz + left giving me an offer of 1 month of Premier. I buy more than I render (hopefully, only currently) and I can see why I might want to be a Premier member. I actually really like the idea! But I don't want to give up my months left for feck all. I get that I might not get as many months as I have left. Costings etc but this is insulting. Can I just check? Will my membership run out at end of time or am I stuck in an endless groundhog day of Daz+?

    So I assume the current bundles for premier will be those until November?  I don;t need any of them, a couple I have most of the products already. I thought this month would be the test, but my premier sub goes to mid Novemeber, so it looks like Novemeber to be the true test if its worth it or not. I alrasdy am not going to use the rental add on products as I dont want to find out I like them and then have to resub frown

    Daz_Steve seemed to be saying there'd be an all new bundle to use the coupon on in the near future, one would hope he meant before November. Seems a bit pointless to launch Premier, have a Premier based sales event, and then not release one of the defining benefits within that sales event. But DAZ has done inexplicable and counter-intuitive things before.

    If you mean the bundles you can get for free, Steve said earlier that more would be added during the month.

    I didn't see this orange banner (maybe it was obscured by the other messages) and so I've been waiting on a customer support response for days when it wasn't necessary. And this also caused me to miss the 30% off gift card sale. Damn

    Genesis 8 Starter Essentials was installed as a single product within DAZ Connect as opposed to separate Genesis 8 Male/Female installers in DIM.

    Photopshop or even Autodesk Maya are “Digital products"
    My old photoshop CS6 is perpetualdevil
    but if I don’t  renew my $300 per year Maya indie license in late December ,I will lose access to All of the prefab character rigs Bifrost,Ncloth presets etc etc and  the program tools of the software.
     


    Autodesk ,like Daz, has informed me of this upfront Before I purchased this so I don’t see how this is “sketchy”

    Regardless of delivery method you should see updates in the method you used to download/install.

    Thank you Crosswind, that last Blender tip works just fine. Part of what's tricky about Blender is just learning *where* all of the available options are.    :)

    I was going to give it a shot for a month, but since I used to be a Daz+ member, the subscription button doesn't even show up for me. What a mess! I can only auto-renew the expired membership.

     

    I guess my impulse buy was saved.

    Okay. So to boil this whole thing down ... My DAZ+ expires in March. So, if I don't want this new subscription deal, I can cancel NOW and my membership will not be renewed after it expires in March but I will still keep my DAZ+ until then?

    Current Daz+ member here. Would be great if I could purchase the new Premier features seperately rather than having them bundled into a new subscription. I'm not sure I can justify spending the money that is being asked for Premier each month. I much to prefer to purchase the addons once and own them for life rather than have to rent them instead.

    Here's a bit of transparency for you. If any of you guys own ManFriday tools you already have the tools at your disposal for free. She seems to be the only one so far who has opted to transfer the plug-ins we bought to be part of Premier. Will edit this in a jiffy. Gotta go do a roundup (on my offline pc) . Luckily I own them all. So let me show you how to find them ... talk about trust . . . these things do not happen overnight.

    the dforce manager seems to be MF dForce Companion2 if you have it

    The sculptor seems to be MF Mesh Grabber which gives you more power if you bouthr the rotations and editor morph (was a bundle) if you have it

    Pose Converter try MF Figure Converter for G9 if you have it

    Render Queue just use MF RQ3.0 because after waiting forever, biting on the carrot, it got sold for use in Premier.

    These plug-ins and some others, are not available in the store anymore since last week.

    Shape transfer, not sure what's in Premier, but I just made a G9 from G8 wearing G3 Clothes and Kids4 hair and takes most poses, from available products, but will not post process here because if I do the products I used may vanish. Kind of like posting stacking deals and they suddenly stop . . . 

    We all buy content and forget we own it or cannot find it. Initially, as a newbie, I found some MF installs difficult to locate. But finding and fixing is actually very easy via DIM or manually. Forgive my 'mouse' handwriting. Assuming you have these assets here is where you can find them.

    via DIM.

    DIM1. Search by alpha . . . or type name in search bar of DIM.

    DIM2 Install if not installed. Right click on the arrow to the right of the uninstall column.

    DIM3. Click the links in popup screen to find maual guides and plugin file locations. Repeat for each plug-in.

    Manual

    M1. Right click the DS Icon to locate DAZ Studio filesfolder. (most people may find them in c:/Program Files/DAZ3D/DAZStudio4)

    M2. Locate 2 folders, plug-ins and docs/plug-ins.

    M3. Plugins houses the dll file

    M4. docs/Plugins houses guide manuals etc.

    Under windows open Tool Settings Pane click next to active tool and you will see a drop down of all plugins. If not displaying there go to Help> about plugins> and enter your serial# for the plug-in. Anyway these are the special tools you may already own.

    Alright, I even tried renewing my expired Daz+, and that doesn't work... I guess I'll come back in December or something, see how things have gone.

    Oh that one? The one we got strung along waiting for? Right. MF is a great coder, and that might be well worth renting for some. . . but not for me. I'm happy with what I have and own.

    Like others, I have a plus membership and there appears to be no way to change it to premier. I just get sent in a circle. Anyone have a solution for this?
