eg if I use DIM, as default setting,, it should install contents to the
c::/ユーザー/パブリック/パブリックのドキュメント/MY DAZ 3D Library, It is "path" which I can see in windows explorer.
Then if I set the same directory,, by Didrectory manager,, it should be shown like that,, C:/Users/Public/documentsMY DAZ 3D Library,
in daz studio Directory manager,, And it is same as the OP pic.. I can not find any difference about the path which he sets by directory manager.
Then If I use directory "C:/Users/漢字とひらがなの名前(account of windows)/documents/Mylibaray"
it usually cause problem, when I work with DB. then I do not think it work with DIM, and migration process of database by ds 4.9
You have all to know that i have no problem like this with all my other characters (gnenesis 1 or 2)
so if i have major troubles with genesis 3 i think i will just uninstall it
i have everything i need with genesis 2
I had trouble with Genesis 3 Female Essential too for a while I could not install properly and got the same problem you had. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it finally worked. Why, I don't know; but I do know I uninstalled Genesis 3 Female Essentials and deleted them from the DAZ Install Manager and redownloaded and installed a couple of times and it finally worked. I have no French language computer but I do usually have the keyboard set as Norwegian. However the OS and it's language system except the keyboard I/O is American English.
There must a bug that happens sometimes with the Genesis 3 Female Essentials installation.
thanks for your help
a technician from Daz Helpdesk is working on my problem now, i gave him the link of this page

"Utilisateurs" is just a lablel Windows uses for display, the physical path to that directory is actually C:\Users.
Ah, thank you Leana - I did wonder if that might be the case but being strictly Anglophone had no simple way to check.
