Many thanks for the comments on my first entry. Tis appreciated!

drachenlords - a lovely image. I very much like the composition and your use of DOF.

Hansmar - what a novel use of instancing! Very cool image.

adbc - a very poignant image. Very much like the illumination.

Here’s my second entry “The Last Star Flower”.

All DAZ 3D content except for the Fantasy Flower which is by Lisa's botanicals at Hivewire3D.

Illuminated by the Bryce sun and IBL HDRI by Horo.

Rendered at 16 RPP - about 40 minutes render.

    Thanks for taking a look!

Dan - super idea, beautifully done with all these stones. Great colour choices, too. I like how the moon/planet and the space man are reflected in the water and how the leaves have a tad of transparency.

Yellow Pen: Very lovely and detailed scene. I like the hair of the girl and the fact that the basement is made lively by all those flowers.

Here is my third entry; I never thought I would create three, but it happened. I actually made several version, before deciding on the most weird version, which is this one. You hardly see the terrain, which was made in Terrasculptor 2.0, before being modified in Bryce. Also not as visible as in a normal render is the great sky, made by Horo, it is one of his HDRI enhanced skies. The snake is from DAZ, if I remember correctly, while the birds and the bees are freebies from the web. The cactus with flowers is from Greenworks.

I created my own distorting lens before the camera and fiddled until I got what I like. And there is some DOF as well, although not as strong as in some of my (largely not finalised) experiments.

    Title: Dangerous focus on flowers.
