Taking a break this evening from the graphic novel.
The Cloud Minders Re-Imagined...lets be honest it really doesn't need to re-Imagined.
Great dress, PD! It puts me in mind of the outfits worn in both "What Are Little Girls Made Of" & "Who Mourns For Adonis"--a couple of episodes that don't need reimaging, either (but I don't think anyone would exactly be opposed to seeing the reimaging of them....;-) )
The Clydesdale and the Dauntless are now both available at Trekmeshes!
nicely done, PDSmith!
Well after that image, you have my vote to taking over making the next 5 or 6 Star Trek movies!
Sadly, no - I set them both up for Poser and don't really use D|S, so I didn't make any materials for it. I know some people have used them in D|S, though - the main issues are ambient channels and reflectivity, I believe.
Needed or not, that's a sweet Droxine :).
A New render full size available at my DA gallery
Have a few 'smoothing issues' to fix and then uvmap the lot ...
Dauntless
Thank you :-)
edit: Just found an episode with lots of brig scenes! Will be making a few changes.
For your Voyager needs and wants.

That is awesome news Matty! Looking forward to grabbing it when it comes out.
yeah I got those voyager props - they rock :) been using them for a while :)
here is a sickbay render I did a while back :)
With two slightly differently-shaped objects, it would also make a good thrall collar . . . So, does your collar light-up when the "golems" check in with Central Processing? [grin]
The case for blond Vulcans.
Most Vulcans are shown as being analogous to Caucasians with black or very dark brown straight hair. There have been exceptions - Tuvok's appearance and hair was comparable to African Americans, though his' wife's hair was more to the Vulcan standard. T'Pol's hair was a lighter than average shade of brown. I think this proves there is the possibility, though rare of blond Vulcans.
I think there was a mention of a blond vulcan in Spock's World if memory serves.

I read that years ago, but I don't remember the details.
I remember reading one of the books with the Kirk era crew and they came across a 'space circus' and there was a blond Vulcan juggler who eschewed logic.
The vulcan that I remember from the book was one that I think McCoy met that worked in a public setting when he visited Vulcan. Or maybe it was Kirk who ran into him. I just remember the guy didnt fit the stereotypical stoic vulcan that are usually portrayed. He was arrogant and didnt want to have to deal with non-Vulcans. And this was before the snobbish Vulcans we encountered on "ST:Enterprise."
I was able to find the passage. Shocked me that I could so easily search for terms in a specific book and they just pop up like that.
Excerpt from Spock's World by Diane Duane - page 135
For those whom the link may not work:
The man’s name was Shath, and he was one of the senior officials in charge of the debates. He was small for a Vulcan, barely five foot nine, and he was blond, which caused Jim to look at him with great interest when he and McCoy were first introduced to the man in the offices of the consulate. The fair hair was a surprise, since blond Vulcans were rather rare; also a surprise were the blue eyes, a vivid dark blue like Vulcan’s daytime sky in clear weather.
David
cool
I made this one with green eyes, thought it made sense
Sounds good. But a blond Vulcan is rare regardless of the eye color...
Wish I could see the image. I think the anti-virus here at work is keeping images from loading on this site. I dont have the issue anywhere else and I dont have the issue at home. Oh well...
David
I had that problem today. I had to enable Java from Cloudscam to get pictures to appear.
Cloudscam? What the heck is that? I'm on a Mac here at work using Opera 11.
David
For me, I only needed to allow "Cloudflare.com" to see the images.
Just submitted the Dawnstar to F3D. Hopefully it will be available within the next 24hrs.
Cool! cant wait :)
I forget, is there a steamrunner class for poser/daz studio?
IIRC that's the book with one of the funniest depictions of Vulcan formal debating technique I've ever read. (She bit his leg!) :ahhh:
There's also a scene with Vulcans of every conventional body type and colour under the sun — Earth's or Vulcan's — in one of Diane's other books, My Enemy, My Ally. "Gigantic seven-footers, little delicate ones, slimmer than Spock, burlier (but no fat ones, that would be illogical) [...] fair, blonde, brunette, even several redheads."
