Not just you ... various groups have been making changes affecting several websites.

In FF one has to check noscript if running that, to allow cloudflare.com ... in the member's forum the issue is even worse. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I forget, is there a steamrunner class for poser/daz studio?

None as of yet. The only two models of a Steamrunner are both low poly and one of them is a game model which I will not convert cause its a game model.

So...is there an Olympic class out there? I know there's a MAX model out a TrekMeshes, but I've not been able to find anything usable in DAZ. :ohh:

My dream model would be a Poser copy of the Andrew Probert Ambassador class starship, but I know there'd be no way in hades that either LIghtworks or Andrew Probert would ever let a copy of said model go public availability, for 3D modelers to play with.

As always, Matty, your conversions are amazing. They're a joy to behold and play with, and help me learn more about working in Poser, and getting to grips with authentic lighting set-ups, etc.

Bluto, did you just sign in? The reason I ask, is that everytime I get booted by the system and sign bacdk in, I lose the pics, too. I have to leave the internet and come back before the pics will show up.

It's the "yet" part that gives me hope. ;)

Nice ship - it looks like one part Peregrine, one part Jem'Hadar fighter, one part Nebula....

Coming soon as I can export it and size it for DAZ/Poser....

This is a Data Disk Reader. They were used to record personal logs and view information off of the disks used aboard ship and at starbases. Thanks to Craig Sheeler for reference images so that I could model this. He has his original prop for sale on Ebay right now for anyone interested.... :)

You have to use an attachment now to get a picture to post, and quoting will not display the picture that someone else posted. *sigh*

    I miss the old forums.....

    That looks real nice :-)

I miss the way the images used to load too. Trying to make tutorial threads is a nightmare this way.

    ......................

Having watched a certain episode several times, hopefully I now have enough reference images to make a better brig. I suspect that the designer of the brig didn't necessarily look at the same floorplans we've found however, should make for an interesting set.

If anybody else is interested in making one too this episode has the images: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hunted_(Star_Trek:_The_Next_Generation)

In the meantime I have made a little flowerpot for those that would like one.

So, this is a TOS Kindle/Nook?

Pretty much, but no doubt it is full of functions that we don't have on our current technology. I wouldn't be surprised if it's got some A.I. and some very long range communication functions. We never saw them do anything but read some voice reports into it in TOS, but then again, if it wasn't needed in a script, it wouldn't be shown.

For me, I only needed to allow "Cloudflare.com" to see the images.

Just submitted the Dawnstar to F3D. Hopefully it will be available within the next 24hrs.

I'm using Opera 11 and I cant find where to "allow" cloudflare.com. And I find it interesting that when I first log-in for the first time of the day I can see images. Later in the day when I come back to the forums suddenly I cant see images but yet I'm still logged in. I dont have this issue on my home computer. Just at work. if it's the firewall I have no control over that. Just interesting that it's happening now. I've logged on here at work before and not had this issue until now.

Reminds me of the "How It Should Have Ended : Star Trek: How It Should Have Ended" when they turn off the "lens flares generators" - Classic!

Interesting concept, although if this is a alternate timeline how would he exist?

My guess is it's Kahn, but since this is all part of the re-imagine look.

My guess is it's a disgruntled Starfleet Officer either from the past or current current re-imagined timeline, but I think it's Kahn...hands down all the way Kahn. maybe in name alone.

All freebies have been updated to the front page, sorry about not getting the word out.

I'm hopeing to wrap up the Mirror Universe Grapic novel in the next week, then spend a week with word balloons and placement of text. If all goes well...it should be an early Merry Christmas gift.

-one note of fact. I broke away from the standard graphic novel look and have gone with 1 or 2 frames per page. Each image took my computer close to 8-45 minutes to render. (ie I7 processor (8 cores), 8gb Ram, 3Gb video and have to thank Shadowhawk1 for giveing it to me.)
