Thank you very much Blacky13!
I have many users that always asking me, not only on this thread.
I know that no product is perfect. That's why WE are here to solve their problems.
But I believe, as you believe that I made a good start with new texturing techniques. This is the start. It needs work.
And we'll find the way for better results all together!
But surely we're in a good way!
Thnx again
Regards
D-Z
Very happy with the product as well.
Thank you very much John! Much appreciate it!
I will make a manual this weekend.
Thnx
D-Z
Because I'm using Scatter & Transmit with my Shader. If you want it lighter then set Base Color Effect to Scatter Only.
It will be a freebie script & manual this weekend!
You want to help me with the manual? Really appreciate it! Thank you very much. I will keep it mind!
Thnx for you kind words about my product! I know that it has not so many presets or luxuries, but I believe it has a very strong base!
OK. Did you try change glossy color?
For most texture sets it could easily be used with no user adjustments, which is great for many (most??) users. But it's also great for people like me who enjoy "improving" on a base product. There are so many different approaches to shaders from the different vendors, and such a large variation in the base diffuse maps, that making a simple one or two click solution that would work perfectly for everything is close to impossible. So I think you've done an outstanding job!
I wanted to try a render using Anagenesis II in a "real" environment. The attached render is the result. I used the texture set that comes with Ysabeau 6, which is rather pale on the arms. I fixed the pale arms (which had a very slight greenish tint) by adjusting the "Glossy Specular" color and the "SSS Reflectance Tint" a bit. This render used the preset mesh lighting of the Sci-Fi 3 set, plus three plane mexh lights. IMHO the skin looks much better and richer than the default Iray conversion. I did also use the Fix Lips Makeup and Lip Gloss settings/script (note: be sure to zoom to the full 2,400 x 2,400 resolution).

First you have done a great render job!
I have explained to another users that one click solution is not necessary or only the color skin or color tone!
I tried to catch the skin feeling. And as I said is very difficault that with 4 maps. And especially with not so "HI-END" maps. So I decided to work with one.
I didn't deleted Bump Map because I didnt take good results, but cause many old models of V4 didnt have Bumps. So I was thinking what users will do without bumps?
This means that users can still use Bump Maps on Top Coat Bump. But I have done many tests and I noticed that both maps Diffuse & Bump on Top Coat gives the same results with pores.
I believe Old Bump Strength is not for skins. It gives very strong bumps with no controlling.
But Top Coat Bump its magic for skins!
I will write more in my manual this weekend!
Thnx again
Your very welcome!
Hi D-Z,
One last thing: Before I started working in comics I managed Tech Support departments and have *years* of experience writing user guides and software/technical documentation. If I can be of any assistance, please just ask! I'd be thrilled to help!
Thank you very much Blacky13! Really appreciate it! I will need you for sure! :)
Below is an iray render of character for Victoria 4 called Cym56 Miiya by cymbidium
I have used scripts for dark skin Genesis + lips female + makeup fix
YAY... can't wait!
DZ,
First, this product is wonderful!
My only question is characters using deplacements maps. After it converts, it alters the settings and I reset them to their original values. But, the render doesn't show the affects on the render. This is most likely something I'm not understanding. Was wanting to see if anyone had input. The skin/map is already IRAY and working in initial renders.
Thank you very much!
What do you mean with doesn't show the effects on the render.? Even if you increase displacement value?
I found the problem, D-Z. It was something on how I had settings. Thank you!
I'm glad you found it! Is this something that can help another user?
Thank you
D-Z, I would be happy to proof-read the manual for you either in advance (bit soon) or after first issue if you like.
One question struck me yesterday. How do you remove Anagenessis when it has been applied?
Reload your default character shader. Thats all!
Thanks. Doesn't that mean applying each element (lips, mouth, torso, etc)?
I bought NGS Anagenesis II a few days ago, what a fantastic product! At the same time I also bought the first Anagenesis because of the nice discount, but haven't the chance yet to try that. Anyway, the script and manuel will be more than welcome, thank you for your great job!
Thank you for the tip, I tried this, and yes it works. Still have tests to do, but it helps witht he blue tint.
Btw, I've finally tried it on some G3 today, and I have to say wow :) . My results with G2s are rather fickle so far, but on G3, it gives an instant/one-click and spectacular improvement !
I can't think right now why you have issus with G2 figures. The shader it works with diffuse map. It should be given same results for any figure (we're talking about texturing results only)
Or do you mean about color???
Wait...I can use this with v4? I thought I needed a specific converter for v4. Can anyone elaborate on what I need? I just bought the Qabbalah bundle and I am hoping I can get it looking good in iray!
Of course you can! N.G.S.Anagenessis 2 supports All Genesis Figures and V4-M4
Well that's good news because I bought it a couple of days ago! Now I just need to read this thread to find out how to use it! Thanks!
