jquery.  jquery?  what kind of database server does jquery use?

it mebbe time to let go of ms sql server.  dunno.

I use SQLite, much easier to work with and distribute than MSSql. Even Microsoft is using it (e.g. in Windows 10).

...so seems that solid old houses mean nothing anymore.  Just less than a block away they tore down a perfectly good house, most likely to put up some ugly post modern monstrosity that nobody can afford (unless they come from Silicon Valley).

Nothing wrong with old houses . . . with their damp, and dry rot, and warped framing, and crumbling masonary, and ill-fitting doors & windows, & dodgy plumbing, & electrics out of the arc . . .

    ;)

Hmm,   I will have to tell my landlord that he is cheating me.  Our house was built sometime in the 1830s, and it  is dry, no dry rot, no crumbling masonary (that could be because it is built from rock and the walls are 18 inches to 2 feet thick.  Windows and doors made to measure when they were upgraded and the plumbing and elelctrics are fine, except I have a couple of washers need replacing on the taps.

mind you I do admit that the previous house we were living in, just over a mile away from here, did meet your description on several points.

Much better to build with pine 2x4's that aren't oak and not 2" by 4"; and water absorbing gypsum sandwiched between cardboard; and pressed wood flakes glued together; and flamable tar roof shingles instead of slate.  Oh, the number of modern improvements are many. (*snicker, snicker*) devil

For that matter I don't know what was wrong with caves as long as you kept the critters and neighboring tribe out.  indecision

Oh, yes, "population explosion" that was the problem.  Too many people, not enough caves. frown

    thanks.

thought my render was silly looking somehow. >.<

i guess is handy to show roots when dinos rip trees out of the ground.

..this was not the case here, much of the interior material that was on the lot afterwards was sound, clean, and fairly up to date.  It is the situation that has been ongoing here in the city, with developers buying out viable homes to demolish them to make way for overpriced cramped "mini flats" that stick out like the proverbial thumb that just had an unfortunate meeting with the business end of a hammer (particularly in the neighbourhood where I live). Many of these new developments also do not include off street parking for their tenants which is causing issues for long time residents.

I think so, no point in making them if they're just hidden in the ground where you can't see them.

jquery is a library for use with javascript.  It has nothing to do with a database!  I imagine it will use whatever database you have running on the back end, including MS SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.  It is not prejudiced.  laugh

It's a crackle; I get a buzz out of it that leaves me in a tingle. Shocking really, but you have to strike while the ion is hot. Anode you could charge me with battery, and I'm positive I couldn't endure a cell; I'd much rather stay ohm . . .
