...'plaint.  Ugh, yet more horror stuff in the store tonight.  It's been almost a month since Halloween now.  Bad enough that the RL stores already have their yule holiday displays up, I'm already seeing trees up in people's living rooms (on Nov 28th) and still getting Thanksgiving themed emails.  Could we please have even a little a break from all the holiday-mania here?  Just a few days?  That's all I ask.

Just woke up from a nightmare about early phases of zombies or some type of plague that was just as awful.

Thanks, I really liked this one:

Thanks, I like the "Fantasia on Serbian Themes" also but my original link pointed to the "Sadko" suite was that the one you meant to link to?  Or did you browse around on that page and also find the Serbian themes?  So much of Rimsky-Korsakov seems to peek into parts of my mind that don't get talked to very often.

If I believed in reincarnation I'd suspect that I'd lived a few times in that part of the world.

oh boyy something happened in the Shinnecock canal, the gate wasn't released in time for all the fishies trapped in there, they ran out of oxygen. the fishies that the stripers like to eat. bait fish?

learned today if yoo not careful, striper gills have the razor sharp kind, can cut your fingers to the bone if yoo don't lift them properly.  bluefish have teeth.

had a rough morning, lucky i haz my cane, my balance is off.  i have trouble shifting my weight, my hip not like it used to be.

grabbed x2 choccy milks at starbuck's this morning.  thirsty for choccy milk.  coocoo for cocoa puffs.

I had a weird dream about zombie factories churning out pre-packed zombies to get them in stores before Christmas!

I know what you mean.  I've got a set of computer speakers that I've arranged around my TV chair for all my primary listening and they're pooping out.  They've got a volume control in the speaker cord but it's scratchy and one channel or the other poops out as I try to adjust the volume.  Invariably the volume I want is right in the middle of a poopout spot! frown

I do have a nice set of wireless headphones but they make me hot and sweaty after a while.  I've been threatening to buy a new set of computer speakers but would rather save up and get a half decent amplifier/receiver and some proper speakers.

Sunday was the beginning of Advent, so there is at least an excuse for starting to put up Christmas stuff. But without the bruhaha of Thanksgiving (or Halloween, really) in this part of the world, Christmas gets rammed down our throats starting sometime in September, and by the time it's time to ACTUALLY start celebrating, we're already sick to the back teeth of it.

    Maybe 2017 will be a good year . . .

More likely someone will see that and produce a busty Santa's elve.   frown

My ride home is near.  So many complaints so little time.  Hopefully the render I started last night will be finished by time I get home.

Well it certainly can't be any worse that 2016. I started going of 2016 by the end of February, and by the end of April I was quite willing to give up on the rest of 2016 and try and pretend it didn't really happen

...another fairly nice day again here before it i all turns wet again late tonight. More heavy snow alerts in the Cascades for late tonight into tomorrow. Skiers must be chomping at the bit to hit the slopes by now. Used to be one myself but not with my creaky bones and joints today. Skiing was about the only activity which made winter somewhat enjoyable for me as an adult (never had strong enough ankles for ice skating).

Someone else than myself won my big Megabucks jackpot (6.8$ million).  May pick up a Maga Millions on the way to my Tuesday gaming session tonight. Crikey, my time has to come soon as I'm not getting any younger and it's usually us old blokes with most of our life behind us who win.

...same here, then the pub I usually go to on Tuesdays (2.50$ pints of craft brewed beer) closed early, so also a wet cold (and slightly painful as my foot has been bothering me the last couple days) walk home when I could have just got off at the bus stop which is maybe 15 metres from my house.

Another bright but cold start, with a heavy frost -- another two-jumper day. Not planning to go anywhere though, just work work wort. And some rendering. Now, coffee...

I saw last night that there were a lot of tornadoes down south last night.  I'm glad it missed you.  Those are scary things!  surprise
