Rduda, that is just incredibly clever, doing a clay render for the linework.

I just wanted to thank JoeQuick for posting his Semi-Modern Thor on sharecg. Like he noted, it is "semimodern" but it's a great model. I've been hoping that he'd make it available for some time now. Thanks again!!

Silver Age Superboy was a high school freshman. He started out as Superman when he was a boy, uniform, powers and all.
With the Supersuit, one size fits all. :)

Silver Age Supergirl landed in a spaceship in Action Comics #252, surprising her first cousin Superman. She was also about the age of a high school freshman, and was saved by her doomed parents who (as far as she knew) died from green kryptonite poisoning.
So what does Superman do with his poor newly-orphaned cousin?
Why, put her in an orphanage of course! (The Silver Age Superman could be something of a jerk at times.)

I think that when I'll finish this one, it would be really time to work hard on thanos, isn't it ? ;)

I've got a head morph to compliment that: http://josephquick.tumblr.com/post/46739509048

Wow, really nice work joe :)

I used to have an old thanos outfit headmorph for poser6 don but I need to complety rework it to make it work with the freak or genesis...

Do you remember this? It was first post at animotion (old good time ;) ):

    heh, animotions

in my defense, it wasn't actually my birthday

Wow, banned for this - that sound really harsh.

SO now I know that good old days are gone forever (if I ever had any doubt about it)

    Whoa :bug:

Am totally floored by the quality of the work in this thread :-)

@Rduda: What shader did you use to render that (sorry for the noob question :red: )?

Just a normal setting, all the magic is photoshop, a posterize and photocopy filter and so on.

Thank you so much for sharing Rduda :) Sorry for the late response :red:

    "Seven Strong Redux"

Revisiting a concept: the original Silver Age founding membership of the Justice League (what can I say... I like my League old-school and my Earths infinite); this time, in a composition inspired by the title card/promo image from the DCAU interpretation.

Since my first version of "Seven Strong" almost two years ago, all of the character morphs, custom suit textures and some props and accessories were lost in a catastrophic hard drive failure; each of the characters has been completely redone (wardrobe mostly by Joe, with a bit of Nadino, Ravenhair, Tyler McDowell, TerryMcG/RAMWolff, Duda and Vadlor thrown in).

(Full-full size -- even biggerer -- on my dA account)

This is amazing! Well done, equinox :)

And since GL is Hal I'm assuming that this Flash is Barry :-P

Playing around in Daz a little this morning. I came up with a new outfit for my Thor based off Joequick’s outfit :)

Nicely done. Props to you both!

Thanks for the kind words on my League, folks (and yes, banditcameraman, my speedster is Barry ;)).

Just thought I'd mention that I've made Aquaman's polearm (trident? pentadent? really big shrimp fork?) available for download, for anyone who'd like it.

Thank you but I was unable to open it in DAZ. It appears the OBJ is missing from the zip.

Hrrrm... it's definitely been one of those weeks. I've updated the .zip to include the geometry. Hopefully, I got it right this time.

I started doing a series of characters vs. zombies. I can't post my Hulk vs. Zombies here because of the graphic nature, but it is on my deviantart if you are interested.

    Question

    Which to you prefer?
The one on the left with minimal dynamic blurring?...or the one on the right with extra blur (kinda makes it hard to look at, but that itself is a fun effect)

I think the one on the right is a great idea and I love the effect. I think you need to refine the execution of it. Perhaps make it a bit more dynamic and comic styled. Like motion blur to accentuate the movement If that makes sense.

I noticed in a few of my Hulk graphic novels that they made use of of blurs to really give a sense of action...so that was the effect I was trying to emulate with the zoom-blur here.
Guess I could add some motion blur too......its hard to find the point where you just go too far ;)

Definitely the one on the right.

It comes across as a more dynamic action shot.

    Thanx
The more I look at the effect, the more I like it.
