Ha! The aliens made me laugh.  I like the chess game too. It seems you are in a more cosmic mode here now. Really great renders. :)

This is such a great community! So many awesome renders and you can learn from each and every one if you have an open mindsmiley. And yes it feels good to try different things and try not to get stuck in your own way of doing/thinking:-)

    Thank you Liana!

I know I like seeing all the different renders people do. I know I am always learning and I don't have any one way of doing things myself. :)

This just popped out of my DS3

Love the rays:) DS3, really? Cool!

winkI cheated - the rays are on the background environment sphere ! The background was created in Terragen Classic years ago.

...Wow you mean I'm not the only one using DS3 at the moment?

This was really just a one-off, trying out an old DS3 prop of mine. There was a problem I never managed to resolve and after seeing Parris' IBL Master comment on the previous page I just felt an urge to give it a last go !

But you're definitely not the only DS3 user - e.g. check out Joe Jarrah's gallery on ShareCG here http://www.sharecg.com/pf/full_uploads.php?pf_user_name=jjarrah
