There's nothing I love more than tweaking an old Poser figure for a new life in Daz Studio. Thanks to the folks who created all these products. I've been trying to get this one out of my head for a few years. DForce finally made it doable in DS.

While the image is still very much imperfect, it manages to capture that classic painting feel I was going for.

I'm working on a new FaceGen character based on a purchased reference photo set. Am I being too picky by allowing the subjects contact lenses to irk me somewhat?

Love the manger scene, very well done!

As far as the contact lens issue, I can see where that would be annoying, although, you have to admit, its real looking lol.

Thanks. Wanted to get that one out of the grey matter for a while.

According to the file name, this is Master of Time. Very nice!!!

I also really liked the lighting on your manger scene. A very serene feeling overall, nicely done!

Warren Jenkins, A.K.A the great BOWSKI setup those materials for the Time Traveller and shared with me. His work is flat out amazing to me. The manger was a fun image that kind of inspired a whole tutorial video. I had that concept in my mind for a long time and knew the God Rays in hte Dax store would really work well for something like that.

Well done render! However, I agree with @Saphirewild...it's definitely freaky and I need to add--a bit intimidating (in the nicest way possible smiley ).

I really love the mix of modern adventurer and ancient magical scroll.

And the expression on the girls face on the left is priceless!  She looks appropriately terrified.

I've been where she is with that same expression on my face.

It was good for a young man like me at the time. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone.
