I just change my name too, The first 'DU" is at the second place now, can you see it?
I had the day off today so I started working on building a record store. I'm trying to make it from memory based on one I used to go into all the time. I think I may have underestimated how much texturing there is going to be - now I have to come up with images for the posters and covers that will be in view and I haven't even added the books and magazines to the empty shelves yet!
Here's a couple untextured renders that hopefully give a good idea of where I am at:
If I follow through on my current idea, most of this won't actually be visible i the final render, but I've got some other ideas for renders in a record store so I figured I might as well try to make the whole thing now. :)

Thanks Phil! That's an interesting idea. My new year resolution was to start making some freebies this year as practice toward submitting something as a paid-product by the end of the year. Of course then I have to go back and really clean up the modelling and actually create nice images for the posters and things instead of just using images from real bands, which might take a while.
My first attempt is here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/2079641/#Comment_2079641 - it's just got the texture with the real product logo on it right now, but once I finish making a nice looking fake product label I plan to put it up on Sharecg. I tried it out and it works fine in Carrara too if anyone has need of a stick deodorant model.

MDO - as you have identified, there is a big difference between doing something for yourself and doing something as a product, not least that you need to own (or have the rights) for all the textures that you use.

Great work, everyone. The WIPs are amazing. Mark, I'd also encourage you to consider getting rewarded for your fantastic work. As Phil said, pay attention to the texture issues, but it may be worth looking at.

Here is an update on my band. Just a concept sketch. Trying to decide whether to use a conforming figure for the dress with extra bones and an extra bend morph, or whether to use VWD. Here, I used VWD on the Genesis 2 Female and then set the G2F to a kneeling position. In general, I think the drape worked pretty well.
Diomede (again now I see!) - great work.
As a newer user, I insist that you join in lol. I learn an awful lot by following along with people who are better at this than I am. I would be disappointed if you and others who are very good with this program did not participate. Besides, that's way too much pressure for us newbies lol.
