Title: “But, it’s got caught in something!”
Stonemason’s model: Generic Sci-Fi Corridor (GSFC)
    Post work: Photoshop Elements 2.0
    Software: Bryce 7.0 Pro
Story: Two kids innocently stumble across an old ‘corridor’ long abandoned on a beach where their kite has blown into it. It's obviously got caught in some 'thing’, but has it just snagged upon a grid of the floor, or is there a sinister connotation to the end-story?

    Jay

I like the concept. Well executed too.

Many thanks, Mattymanx...hope you've entered yourself too...it's all a bit of fun of course, and great prizes to-die-for if one wins.

Wonderful renders so far! Here's my first shot at the contest. A little old school love for Fairytale Collections: Fantasy Castle :)

    Title: Monk and Mage
Gua Bei and Kisara are an odd couple. One is a young monk wise beyond his years who is hardened by life's harsh realities, seeking physical and spiritual perfection. The other is a centuries old magus of the fair folk with a wide-eyed sense of wonder and believes life is not worth living without a little adventure.

    Stonemason Products used:
    Fairytale Collection: Fantasy Castle

    Other products used:
    DAZ Genesis
M5/V5, Evolution, and Creature Creator Morphs
    Royal Elf (Outer Tunic, Staff)
    Freya (armor and clothes)
    Millenium Sub-Dragon
    Journeyer Scout (sash)
    Magus (Staff)
    Defiant (Sash, sword, belt)
    Genesis Supercape
    Mylochka's Hair freebie

Software used: DAZ Studio 4.0, Photoshop

A little bit of postwork in PS. Nothing fancy, just to give it a slight storybook feel with brighter colors.

Oh I like these two, especially the second one, though I look at her and have to smile because I keep hearing The Duke's voice inside my head saying Evnin' Pilgrim, and it just makes me want to LOL to hear his deep voice while looking at her young face.

Not an entry... because it's not good enough and because I posted it on DA a while back so it doesn't comply with the rules.

But I wanted to post SOMETHING in this thread to give Stonemason props... on his props... 'cause they are proper cool!

If I get the time I will submit an actual entry. Thanks SM for all your work!

Ok so entry number two into the Stonemason competition. I hope you guys like it.

There is a story to go with it, but I am not going to relate it here. When the competition is over and I can put it up on DA I'll tell it then. I'll simply say that it involves a tortured soul and her son escaping a truly sickening scenario at a "scientific" research station which investigates strange phenomena (I know, it sounds pretty cliche, but it has it's own plot devices).

    Title: Lost Souls
Created in DAZ Studio 4.5 pro, rendered with LuxRender and Reality. I used the Stonemason "generic sci-fi corridor for this piece. For those interested the dress the female character is wearing was made by Vampyric Saiyaness on Deviant Art, who kindly let me use it in this piece (http://vampyric-saiyaness.deviantart.com/art/VS-Rainbow-Dress-347020518).

Anyway, hope you enjoy this artwork and good luck to all the competitors :)

Well I saw this competition and I just had to make an entry, it's just too good to pass up!
So here it is, my entry into the Stonemason competition.

    Nice render, and welcome!

    Thank you Storypilot :)

Quickxotica...superb, and so much happening in the image (close-up definitely recommended).

As for Fayrie, Wheelman and Spazzi your entries are just....pHEW...what can I say...so jealous and zealous.

So here is my first entry:

    Title: The Impostor
    Rendered in: DAZ Studio 4.5
    Other programs used:
    Photoshop CS5

    Stonemason products used:
Urban Future 4, Mech 2012 Enforcer

    Other DAZ products used:
    Genesis, Bot for Genesis

Background: This is the first concept image for an animated short film I plan to make using DAZ and FCP (once I learn to animate better).

    Year 2123. Ford City - District 23 - Zone 5.76
The evening streets are busy with activity when FCPD are dispatched to investigate what appears to be the first recorded cyborg death since the United Commission on Robot Intolerance established the Restrictive Interaction Laws of 2105.

Hope the community likes this one!

    Thanks.
