Congrats on getting your cyborg render up on the shop images! When I saw this on the fastgrab I knew I had seen it in the gallery before but couldn't remember by whom, so I'm glad you posted it here for us to find :D

I hope you have better luck with the next try for submitting something! Did they give you feedback on why they rejected so you can improve?

    Thanks so much Linwelly!

Also thanks for wishing me luck...I've been working hard on my next one, but I've run into a few "complications." XD I'll work it out...hopefully.

No, they really didn't give alot of feedback. They just said it wouldn't be a great fit. crying

But Cassidy is almost done, hopefully they'll like her.

    Thanks again!

Fantastic renders. I really love the one with the red armor/skin. That looks amazing. I just saw the blue one on the Fast Grab banner. Congrats on getting that one used.

Thanks alot Knittingmommy! I really appreciate it!

Got bored, so I was playing with lighting and DoF again. Also Nik collection.

These are version one and two.

  • That's really nice lighting. I love how it highlights the features of her face. I love using the NIK collection. I think actually like the first one better but both are really good.

Thank you Knittingmommy! I've been trying to work on getting better with lighting. I'm so glad you like it!

Also, I love using the Nik Collecton as well, its super useful and pretty easy to use.

    Thanks again!

Congrats on getting onto the banner!  Looks great!   Love the landscape one as well as the others.  I'm a big fan of NIk and Topaz as well.  And Lightroom too, which is also really cool as far as lighting goes.  Lots of presets out there for it free too.

I'm sorry they didn't accept your first girl, I thought she looked great.  Here's hoping the next one will be more to their taste!

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!

I use Nik collection or Lightroom for almost everything, XD. It's super useful when it comes to adjusting the lighting in my renders: Especially since I kind of struggle with lighting.

Thank you, I hope they like my next one too.

Here's my newest render,  A character that I created named Aiden, but his nickname is AJ. I'm trying to learn to work on male figures now.  He's a custom morph, using Gwennili's skin by Kayleyss, and dual spec maps that I made for Alaina's skin. I also painted freckles on the face map in photoshop. I forgot where the facial hair is from, and the eye map...

In the end I edited my final render with the Nik Collection.

Maybe after I finish Cassidy, I'll work on new male figures. But I need to learn how to paint textures for male figures first.

Thank you Linwelly. It took an entire day, to work on the morph . It was mostly because my brother kept nitpicking the whole time, XD. Even so, he helped me to make my first, kind of decent looking male morph.

  • I saw your guy in the gallery. Looks great! I agree with @Linwelly. I like those skin details.
