Morning. Quiet orange fingers of dawn reaching across a storm streaked sky outside my window, and hot already :)

How are you at reading and/or writing Japanese? I was wondering if I could run a texture map or three by you in the future to see how badly I mangled the use and order of the Japanese characters? :red:

I'm not very good at kanji at all beyond the basics, to be honest, but I do have a good kanji dictionary. You can probably find a more knowledgeable person around here somewhere, but if you don't, I don't mind helping with that.

OK. Good to know. Thank you.

Edit: Did I ask you this before? I'm feeling a sense of déjà vu. Sorry if I did.

Has anyone ever noticed that the only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom.

Stepping into the bathtub will make the phone ring. So will taking an afternoon nap.

...light up a ciggie while waiting for the bus and the bus will show up moments later. If it were not such a terribly addictive, unhealthy, and expensive habit, I'd almost consider it if would mean a shorter commute.

When I lived in Houston I discovered this fact. Definitely works. When I tried lighting up here in Austin, the bus would appear. Wonder if e-cigs work too.

My brother is living in Japan (speaks, reads and writes Japanese, also Mandarin), married to a lovely Japanese woman. Between them and Snowbug, I'm sure we'll be able to correct any oddities you come up with ;-).

@Ps1borg: definitely warm and sticky here, and the sun has only just peeked up over the hills (`.`;)... and it's FRIDAY! \(^_^)/

Complaint for the day: I've just seen the new "white" look at RMP... *bleh* I'm going to need a bigger monitor to fit it all in. (>_<).

I think it's that damned Windows 8 "Metro" look. I've noticed that codeproject.com went sort of in that direction lately, too. Big and blocky looking. I call Windows 8...Windows FischerPrice! And I've noticed that those new UltraBooks are rather like Lego computers, appropriate for Windows FischerPrice, I suppose!

I loved that video! Still do! I like the tune a lot, but I prefer Sultans of Swing.

I need help with the metre, and the rhyming... hoping one of our resident wordsmiths will be inspired to write something ^_^.

Yeah, Sultans of Swing was another Classic too (~_~).

The top of the page seems a bit bright, but then my site is mostly white, and I haven't gotten too many compaints...not too much traffic, either.

They did have the same look for quite a while. I'm surprised is didn't changer sooner.

I hope they get the menu working correctly, though.

Oooh now this is real cool: http://www.daz3d.com/modular-ruins/

Heh, I saw a video series on Digital Tutors about designing modular environments for games. It's one of those things I keep putting off for later, but really want to do. Since I love puitting things together and mixing and matching, modular stuff (Like legos? :P ) is a big favorite of mine. ^_^

*edit* of course it would be cooler if I could actually purchase it :P
"The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1." <---- Clicked purchase while I wasn't logged in (apparently...) and so I log in, and my cart is empty. Fine, whatever - I click purchase again and it gives me that message. However, my cart is still "empty".

*edit 2* Cleared browser cache and restarted FF and it still gives me that message. Logging out/in does nothing, Opera gives me the same message too, so is not just FireFox. V_V

...gonna have to wait until MM to pick up any new Stonemason stuff.

In my experience, anything goes well with liquer, until you've had a bit too much, then nothing goes well with it.
