i luv the .more.smileys at Faeriewylde.

remember the :happydance: emotiguy gif, and the bricks one?

..yeah I wish they would bring them back . Love the "sick" and "crazy" ones as well as the two hitting each other over the head with mallets. The cool thing many of those were made with 3DU's Emotiguy.

no wanna put cold syrup on my hotcakes, what would happen if i mixed the syrup in the batter?

...you'd get the flavour but the pancakes would still be rather "dry". The whole idea of putting syrup or preserves on is it adds not only sweetness and extra flavour, but also much needed moistness. If I cannot afford real 100% natural maple syrup (don't go for those imitation ones as they are mainly high fructose based which is very bad for you), I use honey, a fruit preserve, or applesauce.

You could put the syrup you want to use into something like a small glass or glass jar (glass conducts heat very well) and then place that in a pan of just boiled water for a few minutes (some restaurants do this). Don't put it in while the pan is still on the stove,as you don't want to cook it, just warm it up.

Brr cold, was 42f this morning - froze my nose! :gulp:

Lots of photo editing and Craigslist postings today, gotta sell stuff! I don't want to move it all! :ahhh:

Otherwise, pretty quiet - will work on cleaning stuff up around the place as well.

I hope everyone has a great day! :)

...cloudy and about the same temp here on the left coast.

...stayed up too late last night (past 00:00 which for me is late) and slept in most of the morning.

...have the weekly grocery run to do a bit later then more tinkering around with the workstation setup.

...have to find a way to slow the weekend down or extend it so I can get the both the rest and things done that I need. May have to make contact with some of the winged fey, they know how to mess with the flow of time.

...or DARPA needs to get cracking on the "Stepford" project. That way I could be in two places at once, me at home, the "artificial" me (programmed to be an exact "duplicate" with the ability to assimilate and store new information it receives) at the day job.

I've read several short stories with that premise, KK. Invariably the duplicate kills the original and takes his/her place. :)

What's the difference? just one word change in the last line, and different stress on the syllables? ;-)

    'Morning all! (^_^)n

*definitely warm here... 28degC before the sun rose -_-;...*

ETA @ Snowbug: how was the Snowbuglet Inquisition ("Nobody expects the..." ;-) )... did the perpetrator of the Wet Socks 'fess up? ;-)

She claimed it was not her, it was her shoes.
I punished the shoes by hanging them upside down over the night.

OK take 3, followed by the supposed English version (I mean no offense, just being my usual stupid self.)

    O Suomi!
Olet kylmempi kuin helvetti, mutta me rakastamme sinua!
    O Suomi!
    Lumi voi pysäyttää minun kahvia,
Minun keinu tai minun hihaton valkoinen paita!
    O Suomi!
Kissasi on yllään hattu ja villapaita!

    O Finland!
You are colder than hell, but we love you!
    O Finland!
Snow can not stop my coffee,
My swing or my sleeveless white shirt!
    O Finland!
Your cat is wearing a hat and a sweater!

Finnish is hard! How do people think in two languages? I can barely manage one. :)
