They'd have to completely rebuild the centaurs, as far as I understand it.

Oh. As if. Being able to "clothify" an item inside the program is one of the few things I envy Poser users for. But I seriously doubt that Optitex is going to open up its proprietary system to thad degree. Even if it is capable of soing so. And I don't even know whether it is.

Fingers crossed. Watching the clock. Yes, it's a bit like watching the kettle and waiting for it to boil.
I'm hoping he shows up tomorrow too, but just to bring down the hype a little (on the chance he doesn't show) the previous two Michaels showed up in November. So we'll only have three months to wait if he doesn't come along this month. :)

That said, if Michael appears this month, he'll be nearly four months early. If Josie appears in September, she'll be right on time, historically speaking. (Josie 6 was September, Josie 7 was October. Or vice versa. Either way, she'll be roughly on schedule if she shows up next month.)
And while Olympia 8 was a Tuesday release, Victoria 8 was a Thursday release (and Morpheus was a Saturday release, but I really don't think he counts as a major release, even if he was very technically the last male base of his generation), so who knows? Actually, it might be that -- ignoring Morpheus -- they're staggering Tuesday-Thursday releases until they get back to the two-a-month tempo that G3 had. Again, who can say? (Well, apart from Daz, and they won't.)
Ah well, guess my bank account can breathe a sigh of relief.
And I was like a kid on Xmas - waiting waiting waiting ... and came tuesday and .... another f¤¤¤ing bikini!!!!! Felt like when you got socks from grandma. :-(

Didn't Olympia 8 come out at the last week of July? What if all other iconic characters, including the G8M launch does the same?
The last week of this month will be edging into one of the big yearly sales most likely so if not this week, more than likely November.
Of course I could be totally wrong.

The big sales have tended to run longer than a month the last couple years. They could always bracket it with Michael to start one sale and Josie to start the other. (I never remember whether it's the PA sale or the PC anniversary sale that comes first.)

Daz had an update. Haven't been able to see what (if anyhting) is new with it as I'm still downloading and installing all my purchases from the last 2 days.
As for the dinosaurs, I know what happened to them...
See, they build this giant factory over the breeding grounds of an insect that fed on a specific plant. They were the only things to keep this plant in-check so with the insects gone, the plant grew out of control. In order to control the plant, the dinosaurs sprayed pesticide everywhere, but that only ended up killing all the vegetation.
In order to artificially produce rain and help the vegetation grow again, they set off the volcanoes to make clouds. Unfortunately this only caused the ash cloud to block out the sun and finish killing everything off.
I'd get excited, but I've bought a ton of G3M product with all the sales over the past few weeks and it'll take a few months for enough g8M support stuff to hit the market to make it really useful. Heck, I've barely touched G8F since the morph sets I use for everything like Growing Up and the various body hair options still aren't out yet.

had a studio install last night not sure changes except for one the icon in studio that said genesis 8 now says Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials - soooo we are getting closer

I got Victoria 7 free I think for buying the Girl 7 Pro Bundle or some other Pro Bundle. I don't remember.
What do we think the chances are of Michael 8 arriving tomorrow? Really hope we don't have to wait months for him.

On the other hand, if it's true that DS 4.10 is upon us then maybe there's some 'improvement' in it that's needed to show G8M at his best (I have no idea what), and so they might want to get the release of DS 4.10 (along with any associated complaints and bug discoveries) out of the way before unleashing him. I'm so certain of that one that I'd stake almost a quarter of a jelly bean there :)
Well sorry to Ildanach's or anyone's evening! Listen to Serene Night or Astracadia instead. I am only guessing because a 4.10 Public Beta of DAZ Studio hasn't been released but that might not even be necessary anyway.
