    Way, way too cold, Jaderail.

35f outside today, brrr! :bug: :bug: :bug: Where did Spring go? Cripes...

Cold sub for breakfast, soup for lunch, no idea about dinner. :blank: Probably a fish sandwich.

Friday is a holiday! Good Friday.. holiday and a payday.. that's good all right! I'll probably spend all day Friday running errands, the last pair of Levis blew its knees out last night. Well, they lasted through 5 years of hard labor. I'll buy 2 pair and be set for another 5 years. :smirk:

I need a new cell phone, mine is on the way out. Crappy Pantech handset anyway. :-S I just want a stupidphone, I do evrything meaningful on my tablet PC. :)

Meh, kind of. Meeting day. This means the consumption of mass quantities of coffee! :ahhh:

office is closed Friday, i lose a day's pay. but ... 4 day weekend.

By Friday I'm going to need a break. :blank:

Crazy long meetings all day, none of which has anything to do with me, then boring bug fixing. More bug fixing tomorrow, then back to testing Thursday. Meh. :blank:

I think a fish sandwich and some chicken strips for dinner.

I did manage to get a lot of reading on my craft-of-fiction books, and wrote the first draft of a flash fiction piece, between compiles, test runs, and short bursts of writing real code. :) So it's not a totally blecchy day.

Coffee seems good, I don't get to go home for another hour and a half. :blank:

    Complaint:
Norton's Identity Safe has been acting up lately. Or should I say hasn't been working correctly. Ever since I upgraded Norton. It won't take my main password. It trashed my whole vault and then creates a new vault. But if I log out, or have to reboot my computer, it won't take the password again. So...

Today I contacted Norton Support. I chatted with a tech for a while...this was before 1:00 pm, maybe 12:30 or 12:45. He used a chat and remote tool to get in and see what was going on. That started at 1:03 pm. Around 2:00 or so, he got another tech involved. At 2:13, the other tech left and we were not any closer to a resolution. The first guy said that he's going to transfer me to his supervisor. Then he left. I sat there and stared at the remote window and the supervisor never showed up. After exactly an hour, I took a screen cap showing the last activity on the chat and the time on my computer, then I closed it. Then I shut down Windows and went to eat and watch last night's episode of Revolution! I guess I'll forget about using Identity Safe. Back to copy and paste. >:-(

Most complaint-worthy service - sounds like you should go and change all your passwords too... *pessimistic*. <(v_v).</p>

Curious - hot night (got down to 27degC _minimum_ from around 35degC yesterday afternoon)... and now it's a very cloudy morning - looks like a rain storm is blowing over `.`... supposedly we'll get to 29degC today... then drop for the rest of the week.

snow has melted. I think the temperature is supposed to be 50 degrees F. Need to reinstall the rest of my clothes and skin textures for Victoria 4. I've been too busy playing with Vue that I forgot about poor V4. lol I rather use V4 because she uses less computer resources than Genesis. I know, I need a new computer. :p

I pretty much stopped at the Gen 4 figures. Sure Genesis is nice and all, but given the things I do I have less than zero need for new figures. at least, humanoid ones! :vampire:

PPro 2012 and DS4.5 and Bryce and Carrara all run acceptably on my little Core i5 box, I'm planning on a Core i7 laptop towards the end of the year if I don't do something insane like work on getting a degree online in Creative Writing (heh). :bug:

V4 pretty much rocks! A3 is my second fave figure.

People I know teach creative writing they say it is great fun :)

The passwords never went anywhere. The vault is created on your own hard drive and it's encrypted. And there were none in there because of this problem. So they didn't see any of them. I'm just annoyed about this. Seems like this crap keeps happening to me.

Need that person who won $328,000,000 to send me just a two of those millions. I'm not greedy. After taxes, I can pay off my mortgage and loan and credit card and have a little to live on for a few years anyway.

Cool. I don't see many Rock Dove where I live. But they used to be all over the place in the city where I grew up. Out here I see Mourning Dove a lot.

    Dana
...used to have mourning doves where I grew up Loved hearing them. Since I moved out to the Pacific Northwet (over thirty years ago) I have only heard one (and that was on my way to work one morning recently).

I'm assuming Pacific Northwet was not a typo.

I never saw or heard Mourning Dove until I moved out here. It's only 20, 25 minutes away from where I used to live, but the environment is so different.

...thanks for the info. Received the recent update as well. Think I'll wait setting it up until you get this resolved.

Which version do you have? Norton AV or Norton IS?

    ...it's a deliberate one.

Just like when my friends ask why do I keep misspelling the name of our transit system as "Tir Met" instead of "Tri Met".
