@Spyro: Because the Maps are designed to function like Bump and Dis maps, they read the settings from the grey scale map and get applied by the other settings for Spec.
And yes that fits as Stupid in the Stupid thread.

ROFL, yes that I understand haha... I am just confused (However stupidly) as to why Specular maps aren't used in "specular strength" and instead used as "Specular colour" - I would have thought specular colour on human skin would be the same for the individual, except, certain area's of the persons skin have higher and lower specular strength values.

LOL Jader!, I will do some toying around, and see if it makes any difference at all. Been playing allot with shaders/textures for characters recently, trying to improve them and learn more about it. In many renders, they seemed "dry and velvety" When I set up scenes and lighting to match photo references as best I could, I realized the skin Specular and Spec Gloss was very much off... but then, theres nothing to say that my lightning isn't off either. XD But its all good fun, I am loving the AoA SSS shader.

I hope I do not get into trouble for setting up my XP box in my room. Not sure if the owner of the home would think it is stupid to have two computers. (technically I have four which is two desktops and two laptops. I need to have the laptops looked at to get them working again and I could use them to play with Linux and their free programs. So right now I have one working desktop and working on another desktop to see if I can get to work.
