    So, here he is sporting the new torso, arm, finger, and facial hair.

    All that beautiful hair… and the first thing I noticed was his eyes!

    He's coming along nicely. Very nicely. And I do love the body hair options. Thank you so much for these.

  • Thank you!  I'm going to test out the full leg hair (Upper, lower legs and slight at the top of the feet) with a few underwear sets; which is what I intended on this preset to be used for.  Hopefully, there won't be too many issues.

  • Thanks!  Working on icons, and then I can get him to the tester - saphirewild!  She is the last one on the list for the randomizer, and now it starts over.

    Will do, I'll put both onto the list!  Thank you for all of the kind comments and stoppin' in. :) I'm about half way through icons; soon as I get those and the dial cards done and attached, I'll send off the files. ;)

    Well here is the first sighting of Mason being a con trying to sell second rate jams to an unsuspecting victim Miss Woo!

    It is done in 3Delight just to show he even looks great in 3Delight no postwork yet.

    You know I didn't even notice that DM!

    I made his eyes brown, maybe I should have changed them to a bright blue?

  • I think it may be the shader system.

    I did an experiment with a render; I changed the Max Path Length in the Render Settings/Optimization from the default -1 to 5 (to see if that would help my renders finish quicker) and came up with the same issue:

    I am wondering if the 3Delight render engine would have the same effect as changing the Max Path Length in the Iray render engine- before this, I didn't have this issue at all.

    Note to self Mesh Hair does not work in 3Delight giggles was trying an experament with Mason and it did not go well! 

    You will see just as soon as it is done rendering!!

    Edited to add: The eyes are still coming out black as night you will see when I post it.

    Well here he is in all his 3Delight glory!! 

    Eyes black as night and fiber mesh not rendering in 3Delight.

    Are the eyes 3delight materials? If not, could it be that iray materials for eyes doesn't play nice with the 3delight render engine?

    They are 3Delight material so really now sure what the heck is going on

  • I am sad to say this morning we had to say goodbye to a very good boy.  He was sweet, protective, too smart for his own good, loving, playful and a bit of a PITA.

    Our GS boy is now playing on the rainbow bridge with his brother.

    You are missed, boy.

    We are going to go and pick up his clay casted paw prints today, in a few days his ashes.  

  • Back to Mason's eyes: There are no 3Delight shaders for him from my end as I no longer use that system/render engine.

    I've put the Max Path Length back to default (-1) and the eyes render normally again.  Never tried changing that before, so I wasn't aware that this would be a bug of sorts.

    it is not really a bug I was trying Mason out in 3Delight to see if I could do it but it is not working out the way I wanted it so back to IRay and seeing if I can render him before the blue screen.

    Ok I just tryed to render Mason in IRay but my laptop froze out and had to hard boot it!

    I will try again a bit later and let you know how it goes.
