Well I could not get IRay to work on my laptop at all everytime I set it up to render it would freeze out, so I have to only use the morphs of Masoncrying

So here is Mason getting into trouble yet again by checking out this lady's butt!

  • Not sure why you're having issues with the Iray version; I've compressed the textures as far as I could. Hm.

    Cute idea!

  • Thanks Saphire :)

    Nice Render!

If I'm not mistaken, @Saphirewild has issues with Iray in general, on her laptop.

But there's nothing wrong with her imagination! Let's hope Mason keeps walking, before he gets into real trouble.

I wish I could use IRay on my laptop but alas it gives me blue screen or freezes me out!a

  • Understood!  Well, he is submitted.  Now it's time to wait. XD

I'm sorry for your loss, DM. Getting clay paw prints is a wonderful way to celebrate your pets life. Hugs.

  • Thank you very much, WE.  We both appreciate that a great deal.

  • Ok- so onto the next project: The next installation of the Leading Male Morph packs!

First up- Min Joon.  (Daz does not like us to add in hyphens within names, so that is the reason why Min Joon is not Min-Joon)

Worked on his facial morphs last night and let the three views render overnight.  Lee's skin, here.

Could I just say that I think that his eyes do not match his name.

I do not wish to upset anyone but his eyes do need to be a little more slanted for it to more suit his name.

LOL, people used to talk in circles to avoid saying I have (oh well...had) red hair.

I think the eye folds need to be more pronounced but it's hard to see in renders, and mybe his face is too long? Now he reminds me of Keanu Reeves.

By all means don't take my opinion on your accurancy too seriously though as I have facial recognition problems at times.

The comment doesn't upset me, but I would like to point out these shape morphs are based on real people, from the list of names we gave Dar some time back. It may be the person who is the inspiration for Min-Joon is of mixed parentage and his eyes don't slant as much as we might otherwise expect.

Of course, it's just a guess on my part. I don't remember the name of the man Min-Joon is based on!

I like him ALOT...just the way he is, so don't change him. And what hair is that?
  • Clay renders (without eyelashes)

    He is loosely based off of Nam Joo Hyuk;

This is the main photo I used in reference to how "slanted" his eyes would be; they aren't, in fact, slanted a whole lot to begin with.  It is more the shape of the upper eyelid area as well as the height of the outer eye and the depth of the lacramentals that can be difficult.  There is very, very little of his eyelid area shown in any of his photos, which is why I chose to mimic that (to a degree-since more than what I've done causes issues with the lashes).  He does have a long face as well, but again- I am not copying him outright, but using his likeness as the influencer of his features/body type.

As for the hair, it is the Landis Hair with some shaping tweaks from the built in dials and the black hair coloring from the set. :)

    More to come later!

He looks much more like that guy.

New quick render- Min Joon's body type.  Since the actor/model is also an avid swimmer, I went with that and his body morph is now finaled.  Here he is, in Lee 8's skin again:

Just a quick and dirty render, really.  Not an exact match to the model/actor's body, but definitely heavily inspired.

Next up- Ray.  His facial morph is a mix of several younger photos of the actor and a tweak of a few more recent to give this morph:

He's wearing Diego's skin out of the box- and I rather like this facial morph and will be keeping it as is.  Next stop- the bod.

I just realized which one this was based on and possibly why you called him "Ray". And I'm sure that everybody will love him! (Also, everybody loves dadbods!)

Min Joon looks really nice. Very wiry; I don't think you've done one quite like that in a while.

Thank you!  Both were fun to make, really.

I think they both look amazing DM!

But I am here to take my name off your ramdomizer listing because IRay does give my laptop fits and I think it messes up you characters to do them in 3Delight.

I have had fun doing up some of characters you let me play with but I do not think I give them justice!

But I will still be watching your thread to see what you come up with next.

  • Aw, ok Saph.  THank you for letting me know.

Sorry I haven't been posting- I'm having some health issues, but will be posting again soon.

  • New head morph!  Mateo- based loosely off of Enrique Iglesias.

  • Worlds_EdgeWorlds_Edge Posts: 2,152

Oooh I approve of Mateo. Nice work!

  • SaphirewildSaphirewild Posts: 6,669

Damn he looks just as sexy as Enrique!!!

  • Thanks!

I think I'm gonna tweak the brow area a bit more, but for the most part I think the facial morph is done.

  • Tweaked the brow, temple, forehead and upper eye area a bit. Likin' this and I think with a few minor poly moves in a few areas in Hexagon (easier for me than in Zbrush where I just want a few things moved instead of sculpted) and I will call the head morph complete.

  • SaphirewildSaphirewild Posts: 6,669

Can't wait to see how it turns out!!

  • Thanks!

Two more test preview window renders; think I'm done for tonight- body morph and navel are both done and saved along with the body/head preset.  We're actually working tomorrow, so ..yeah.  ;)
