Yellow Pen - great perspective with the Dragon in the puddle.
Jamahoney - ha ha, thank you.
Third entry
Title: Reflecting the Past
wow.... i like it Horo - very expressive.
My second entry:
mystic angel.
@ Hansmar - Thank you. Dragonshout is a true color explosion. Great idea and well done.
@ Jay - Thank you
@ Yellow Pen - A Dragon in the puddle: Beautiful dragon and a fantastic perspective. Very good.
Mystic Angel: Peaceful and a beautiful play of colors.
@ Horo: Reflecting the Past: Really nice. The material of the lady looks great and the whole scene brings me to reflect over the past.
And here my last entry:
Dance of the Vampires:
Already some great entries. Especially like the tiger/cat. Nice idea
Yellow Pen : cool idea and image.
Hansmar : Fab colours and reflections.
Yellow Pen - thank you. Beautifully lit Mystic Angel.
drachenlords - thank you. Your Dance of the Vampires looks great. Yeah, vampires are not reflected in mirrors, well known fact.
Yellowpen: Thanks. Your mystic angle is very beautiful, though a bit dark, maybe?
Mermaid: Thank you!
Horo: My thanks. Yep, that kind of reflection crossed my mind too! Great ‘grey-tone’ (well, almost), work.
Drachenlords: My thanks. And great idea with the non-reflecting vampire!
Adbc: Thanks so much.
@drachenlords : cool idea ! Had the same
@Horo : elegant thinker
@Yellow Pen : not sure it's a good or bad angel
My entry : VAMPIRE
Credits : Esha, WyrdSisters, Propsclub, Guderun, Vcernicek, DAZ Study
Horo : Reflecting the past : cool idea, well chosen material on the lady.
Yellow Pen : Mystic Angel : very beautiful, I like the subtle colours.
drachenlords : Dance of the Vampires : nice idea, great image
Henryhor : Vampire : very nice render, great lighting.
thanks at all - don't know if the angel is dark or not
Drachenlords and Henryhor: same Idea, nice pictures both
Another : PACKHORSE BRIDGE
Plants and rocks from various sources : Flink, Dinoraul, Esha, ShaaraMuse3D, ...
Horo - Reflecting the past-cool idea beautifully done.
Yellow Pen- Mystic Angel - lovely render, love the subtle colors but like Hansmar I found it a bit dark, I did not see the reflection till I viewed the enlarged image
Drachenlords - Dance of the Vampires - another amazing entry.
Henryhor - Vampire - beautiful render, awesome lighting. Packhorse Bridge-great entry.
Henryhor: very nice entry, well done.
Mermaid: thank you, I'll test the Light of my Angel
In my case I think it would be how I see images on my laptop, others didn't have the same problem.
Hansmar - thank you. Yes the HDRI in the background was de-saturated to 25%.
Henryhor - thank you. Great unreflected vampire render. Packhorse Bridge is a beautiful render.
adbc - thank you.
mermaid - thank you.
@ Horo - Thank you
@ Hansmar - Thank you
@ Henryhor - Thank you very much and a very good implementation of the vampire theme. Two heads, an idea :)
Packhorse Bridge is very good. Peaceful Sze, almost like from Middle-earth.
@ adbc - Thank you
@ Yellow Pen - Thank you
@ Mermaid - Thank you
Thanks to all for the kind comments
Mermaid: Brighter is better.... the rendertime is very high again, so I think it will need one more Day to render
Good Luck, the longest time my laptop can handle is between 15-18hrs. Looking forward to seeing the re-rendered version.
@Henryhor:: Wow, two great entries. I do prefer the bridge one. Such a great scene and wonderful reflections. Great general lighting too.
The vampire one is also nice, but for me the colours are a bit too orangy/red all over. Now, I don't mind a bit of orange, specifically with our King's day tomorrow , but this one is a bit much for me. I also feel, that maybe the mirror is freefloating, i.e. not exactly at the wall? Or is it a rather thick mirror, giving quite some shadow on the wall?
Yeah, Henryhor...super example of like, say, a game.
On reflection...maybe I should have turned left.
@ Hansmar - @ Jamahoney : thanks for the comment.
It's a mirror with a thick sculpted frame (half Hex, half ZBrush 3D text with r of vintage frames.ttf. Wanted a kind of rococo look). Agree about the orange. The tex of "the study" is already orange/brown and adding the candles and fire light made it too orange.
@ StuarB : makes me shiver
Last entry : OPHELIA
Credits : Tipol, Syltermermaid, Mav. Plants are almost the same as in the other pic.
StuartB - excellent render, very realistic looking and the chap is probably right turning left.
Henryhor - great render, beautiful vegetation.
StuartB - great render, awesome terrain and ligthing.
Henryhor - beautiful render, love the vegetation.
@ StuartB - A fantastically realistic picture. Good work.
@Henryhor - very dreamy picture. Wonderful.
here's the corrected second entry, a bit more light:
thanks for the tipps.
Yellow Pen - it looks even better brighter.
Henryhor: your new one is very beautiful. I agree with the praise for the vegetation!
StuartB: Wonderful landscape render. And, on reflection, he should have worn some warmer clothes (and definitely turn left, indeed!)
Yellow Pen: Now I can really see the reflection. And the angel itself shines more too. Well done!
