    Keep up the great work!

See, here is the product using an older age preset with that same stylised character but dialled in very little and with a different skin set. So your results will vary based on what you want to achieve.

Heh, what would promo shots be without good ol' Vanessa? :D Very nice picture btw ^^

Might I ask, though, what hair is that? Or rather - is that Hr-101 from Mankahoo?

I had never heard about Mankahoo (I have only used DAZ since 4.5 and Genesis, never Poser or old DAZ versions), the HR-101 seems to be for Poser, is it difficult to fit it on Genesis 2?

I am waiting for your Growing up and other related products, will definitely buy them immediately, excellent work!

Not difficult to fit at all. Just parent to head, scale roughly after moving into place, and add collision smoothing so it collides with genesis making it mould around the head:)

I was just looking for the collision smoothing controls. Where have they hidden them?

I think under - edit - geometry - apply smooth modifier. Make sure the hair is selected.

I've been eying that hairstyle for a while now, but never saw in a render that put in a favorable light as much as yours did :D
I think I'll have to get me some mankahoo hair, now, soon :D

I'm still talking Chest Size THIS in dial (both Male Female) then Female has Cup size Dial, Then Waist size in Dial (both). Height, Weight, Arms Bicep, Leg's thigh and such... Perfect Shaping by SIZES in the Dials. And Presets for basic figures like 5'2" 36C 24 36 110Lb's, or 6'6" 42 34 36 320Lbs for guy's. I know it'll never happen but I can dream.

OPPS! Sorry Zev0. I'll stop OT posting now. I still want this set.

I would love to be able to do that with my characters. It would sure speed some things up.

Thanks, I bought the HR-101 and actually it went correctly using the normal automation, I selected it as V4 and short hair :)

Ah ok cool. It's just a bad habbit I fit stuff manually lol.

:) Is the result better that way or is just really a 'bad' habbit that comes naturally for you? :)

Also one thing is strange: In DAZ 4.6 (and 4.5) when I look at some hair (like this HR-101), it looks weird, like outer parts were inside and inside parts are outside but the geometry is correct and it renders correctly.

I know that has something to do with OpenGL bug but is there any way to fix that in DAZ? In Lightwave that I use for real rendering it is easy to change the sorting of polygons for OpenGL but I haven't found anything like that in DAZ (even in OpenGL settings). Is there some 'hack' for it or some other fix?

As I said, that does not affect rendering so it is not fatal but as you seem to be DAZ guru, I thought I'd ask :)

I hope your Growing up & related projects are going fine, can't wait to get them :)

    Thanks again!

Lol just bad habbit I guess, and I don't know about a hack. Maybe we must just apply a proper shader to it. Something like SSS maybe or uber hair shader. And thanks. Growing up is already packaged and ready for launch. I'm just finishing up my next project which is long overdue:)

But those shaders are for rendering in DAZ, right? I only do posing etc. in DAZ, then I export to Lightwave to do the actual rendering so I have no use for SSS and other shaders in DAZ.

WOW so Growing up & related will be available at DAZ(?) in few days? GREAT! :)

Yes in Daz. I haven't actually rendered the hair in another render engine.

    ok.

Questions/confirmations about your upcoming products, Growing up will be available in few days but:
-characters (Pippa & Piper) or other, when?
    -other products?
-will the morphs be fully adjustable (it seems so by your examples but wanted to make sure)?
-will other morphs made for Genesis 2 Female work with Growing up (like Genesis 2 Female Body Morphs, Genesis 2 Female Head Morphs, Shape Shift for Genesis 2 Female and V6, those I have)?

Sorry to ask these, they have all been discussed about in this thread but I wanted to know what the final products will contain :)

Now I must go to bed (it's 1:55am here) but thank you very much for your help and incredibly fast replies :)

Pippa & Piper have been scrapped and will be replaced with other character morphs. I have been assisting FW on this. Basically the morphs are being replaced in that product, but the textures will remain. It will go live hopefully on the same day. The Growing up product works with all existing packages and the morphs are adjustable:) In terms of other products, Glute Control will also be available later this month. It is Glute movement (from G&B Movement) and the Bend Morphs product for Genesis1 rolled into one product for Genesis2. Has been refined to work on the new mesh. Here is the thread. http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/26164/ Right now I am finishing up Skin Overlay. Will start a thread on that in roughly a week. Also I am busy on the new Aging morphs for Genesis2. I need Minions lol.

    Aging morphs. Great!
I wish that there were more decent older textures for female Genesis. There weren't many for V4 either, but there were a few.

There are plenty of middle-aged to elderly skins for M4 and male Genesis. Few of them clean-shaven, however.

Hopefully skin overlay will be useful in that regard. It has multiple aging overlays and displacements for use on any v4,m4,v5 and m5 UV set.

I KNEW IT! I have those for genesis 1 and cant wait for those to come out. i never used genesis character until your products. BAM! I wish i could help you out in the process. i am learning silo (2.2) at the moment to hopefully get some products out there too. Utilizing PoserPro2014 tools helps!!! Love those new fitting tools!

Here is something i hope is not too far off subject in this thread but i have been wondering about some morphs that deal with the upper thigh when bending. The problem that i see is when the thigh is bent outward the upper thigh gets really thick and is unrealistic when it comes with human anatomy.; including those glutes-but maybe fixed using your new morphs coming out. Especially dealing with a thinner body type, i.e. gymnastics. Noremally i would use the PoserPro tools to shape up those problem areas, but i was wondering if there was a way to make some morphs that would deal with this situation. I guess like a weight map of sorts. I am still new to creating weight maps or i would have doe this myself by now. So little time...i am sure you can relate.

You are a master at what you do and i would love to see what else you can pull from your unimaginable and inventive hat; so to speak!!

Thank you again for these great products. Seriously, DAZ needs to hire you for all there future product releases for Vicky 7 and so on. Maybe give her a new name like, Octavia 2014 or something of the sort!! lol

I noticed that ForbiddenWhispers removed the posts with the images in. I'm curious as to what aided this decision though, as I have to confess I was rather looking forward to seeing Pippa and Piper. Is it safe to assume that there will still be a character pack released alongside the Growing Up pack, or are there plans to release it as one big joint package? Or is it simply a case of making more unique characters by way of collaboration?

I'm still very much interested in seeing the new girls.

It will be a separate product, just revised and will be released on the same day. Don't know what Daz has planned promotion wise yet. We will get some pics of the new girls up as soon as they are fully tested. It's been a crazy weekend trying to get them ready for testing lol

I can't really discuss in the forums why the dicision was made, as it's not very professional to do so. I want to protect the privacy of fellow vendors involved in this project and DAZs involvement.

Yes, the character pack will be released alongside Zev0s product. I am just working on the final promos now, and will get it uploaded for testing in time for release. You can be assured that the updated product will be just as good, if not better than the original.

I want to personally thank Zev0 for being so kind and cooperative in this project.

Well, either way I'm greatly looking forward to seeing the characters when they're ready. I've a habit of 'collecting' kids figures and textures so getting some dedicated child characters fit for Genesis figures is an incredible step forward. Even classic Genesis never got any young child characters. though we did get the Young Teens, which I hungrily snapped up on its release day.

You guys must have been crazy busy lately with all the work you're putting into these characters, so I just want to say it hasn't gone unnoticed. I'm certain the release will be a big success. I know it's already a hit with me! Thanks for keep us updated on the latest info despite your no doubt pressing schedules.
