    This is my votes :

#3 Artist: evilproducer Title: "Going down with the ship"
    It's just so creative..

#4 Artist: Antara Title: “Small World”
    So cute and adorable

    Nominations for honorable mention :

#13 Artist: Antara Title: "Fast and Furious"
This would be my first choice, but I have vote strategic (I don't wanna win, I could never fill the shoes after head wax and organize this contest)

And Sockratease : I thought you had copyrighted the the dobbel "r" name, so I went with my own branding.

well it's the fifth already and after a hard fought battle ;) we have four winners.

the results were really very very close with only a few votes between the first three!

I think that shows the remarkable standard of work that people managed to pull out of the hat,
especially given the meagre objects they were allowed to work with.

    :)

I'll post them up after DimensionTheory has decided who will receive the Honourable Mention.

Thank you once again to our generous Sponsors.

    Daz and DimensionTheory :)

And to all those who gave their time to participate and/or vote.

    see you soon ;)

Hey, I know this might seem premature, but it really isn't:
Congratulations to the winners of this contest! Have much fun with your winnings - and I hope you share some renders that you make with them!
I'm really jazzed about these contests - as we get to see some incredible renders, techniques and, most importantly in my opinion, we get to see each other really grow in the process of creating wonderful art using this amazing piece of software and our own ingenuity and imagination!
Rock On Carrara Discussion Forum Attendees!

    Onya Dart :)

I have to admit I hate counting the Votes!
I just counted them 4 times and in the end the only way I could get it right was to pull out a pen and paper :)
Cutting and pasting just doesn't cut it :)

I'm still scared I added them wrongly!

Hi everyone! I hope you guys had fun with this, next time I'll try and get and entry of my own in to join in and contribute. Banding together to make good art is always a positive thing and I'm excited to see more of this as time goes on.

As for my honorable mention vote, I think I have to go with entry #8 “Fast and Furious Rally, 9th July 1934 : Islamabad” by Head Wax. Like Stezza mentioned I went for the image that spoke to me and I really liked what this one said. Very dark and atmospheric with a splash of color, it makes me curious about the reasoning behind the design choices because it seems like it's trying to get a message across. Very nicely done with well merged rendering and post work! :)

    Dude, You've been mentioned - honorably! :)
...and for the image I voted for - and for the same dog gone reasoning! How freaking one-with-the-force does that make me feel?
    One! ;)

    Congrats!

Yippee :) Well I am proud to have the wonderful task of announcing the Winners of our Second Carrara Monthly Challenge :)

So, ta daaah without further adoo....

First: #4 Artist: Antara Title: “Small World”

Second: #5 Artist : Varsel Title : Flyer

Third: #3 Artist: evilproducer Title: Going down with the ship

Couldn't go to a nicer bunch of renderers!!!!

And I'm honoured to be the recipient of the Honourable Mention. :) thank you.

Now it was a close contest let me tell you, with Antara streaking ahead by an extra vote at the beginning, then being rapidly overtaken by Varsel, Antara not winding ahead of the pack until the very last few days.

And close on EvilProducer's tail were the combined forces of Stezza's Outhouse, de3an's “Welcome to Hogtown! Where pigs learn to fly.”, diomedes;'“stampede” , Ooseven's Ratrace - not to mention Wendy's always challenging masterpieces.

Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to take part in this challenge.

And thanks so much once again to DimensionTheory and Daz for being very generous in their sponsorships!

Antara wins DimensionTheory's: Monterey HDRIs for first place: http://www.daz3d.com/hdr-prosets-monterey
    and a $50 Daz voucher.

Varsel will be the proud owner of Dimension Theory's: Cloud Nine Atmospheric Clouds: http://www.daz3d.com/cloud-nine-atmospheric-clouds-for-carrara and a $30 Daz voucher.

EvilProducer thoroughly deserves DimensionTheory's : Skies of Terra Volume One : http://www.daz3d.com/skies-of-terra-volume-one
    and a Daz $15 voucher.

And Headwax is blessed again with a voucher from Daz as well.

    Thank you so much again!

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and is looking forward to the next challenge as much as myself.

    :)

Sorry Antara :red: ..... and congratulations!

You did deserve to win cause of your picture. It was so cute. (and you would probably done the same....)

This have to be the strangest of contest, that I have ever seen. Everyone is working hard to create great pictures, but still hoping not to win.
I'd say that use your time to come up with new challenge.

And I'll try to be active and help out in the next one...

    NO JOKE!!!

    We're waiting...

    ...

    OK, that was a joke.

    Congratulations to alla them winnahs!

If you're having trouble with a theme, every single person here has been wanting a Cow theme. (and by "here" I mean in the room with me)

I'm sure you'll make a good choice, even if it has nothing to do with cows at all.

    Have fun!
