Here is the new interface. We decided this layout was better and easier. You will have two tabs, diffuse and displace, so you just tick what you want enabled and applied:) The overlays are also arranged in a specific layering order (all done in the script), so they auto apply correctly above the overlays it should.
Greetings,
O_O! Add tan lines, and it would be precisely what I was arguing would be a great product just a few days ago. (That thread 'escalated quickly'.)
Wow.

I'll look at other overlays for a possible addon, the list for this product has already been finalized. Any changes at this stage would mean we will miss our deadline.
Greetings,
Oh my I wasn't suggesting that, just that there was a long, slightly bitter conversation and most of what you've done obviates the argument as it handles all of it, except a brief mention of tan lines. Awesome product!

It looks great, and likely out of my budget! ;D
I've got a couple of questions:
* Would it work (software-wise) with Gen3 textures if the requisite source maps were provided? (My guess is, "Not without some widespread code-twiddling", if only because the Gen3 figures' material names are so far removed from those of the Gen4/5 figures.)
* Would you want a Gen3 version, if someone offered one?
* Would you consider adding moles to the Displacement tab in your next edition? I speak as a man with bumpy moles.
No it won't. The Script auto detects the Uv being used. So unless the figure texture set used is m4 or v4, it will not run.
I thought of making bumps\displace for the moles but for the one click versions I decided to leave it out. If you want to make one, the tutorials provided will show you how. You can also make them with the merchant resource however. Each overlay group in the psd has instructions of how to make displace, bump etc of the colour map. (not just converting to greyscale) Most is already done, but if you want to make your own, the steps to do so are included.
Not interested in uv support past gen4. If v3 character sets were still being sold and in great demand then it would be more viable to do so.
Skin Overlay is complete and will be available sometime this month:) Here are some promo's. Will get more shots up as I finish up the other promo's and tutorials. Still need to sort out the merchant resource so all will be ready on time.
SWEEET!!
Wonderful!! Happy dance Time...
Cool!
Will there be a bundle of the two products?
Also, just wondering, why are stretch marks "female only"?
Yes a bundle option will be available. And I was just going with statistics. Woman tend to have more than men on an average. For now it cannot change but we can discuss future overlays and updates at a later stage. This product is already huge in filesize so I wanted to keep it down so I took out the ones that weren't really as important.
Women may have more then men on average ,but the men you would least expect to have them have them .......case in point my first husband .....6'2" tall 130lbs .......had stretch marks all over his lower back and back of his upper thighs ,I honestly thought it was scarring from road rash .....
butt nope it was stretch marks ,and I was bad .......I laughed my a-- off ,"Dude God didn't give you enough skin to handle your growth spurts!!"
needless to say he didn't take that real well ......
and No I'm not saying you should add them ,your stuff is always great .......and I'm not planning any renders of recreating the ex's backside ......ewww!!
hmm..well the product is already packaged. Will have to include it in an addon or something. Nothing I can do at this stage. Sorry:(
Merchant resource Promo's.
Okay, so this product is going to require building our own variants of the skins outside the program, rahter than using it inside the program? Or is the Merchant resource different from the regular product?
The merchant resource is different. That is for people who want to use the overlays to create characters for sale, or simply just have more freedom in working with the overlays. The One Click versions auto applies ready made presets from the resource. The merchant resource is only recommended for those who have basic experience in Photoshop or Gimp, and know how basic layering works, and how to modify textures. Tutorials will be provided for both:)
Good-oh. Might be worth having in reserve -- although I suspect the one-click version will be more than adequate for anything I need.
The one click versions are quite flexable as well in terms of editing because all the layers are saved as .PNG files, so you can drag and drop them into photoshop and gimp and edit those. The main difference with the Merchant resource, is that it contains the ingredients used to make the presets, and also gives you full license to use on your own products for sale.
Here are some more promos.
and some more.
Last bit.
Looks great.
You do know that men get cellulite too don't you??
Yes I do, however I chose not to do them. This market consists mainly of female renders, so they were more in focus. Plus I ran out of time:) I might include additional overlays in an addon or something, but like I said before, this set has already been finalized.
OK, good to know. Just some folks don't think that men get stuff like that. I remember working at Alamo Rent A Car when I was a young pup and this man came to rent a car and he was wearing shorts. To be kind it was NOT pretty sight. Very large and legs just very much covered in cellulite! :shut:
Ye lol. Some Skin blemishes are tricky. Was a hard choice what to do and what not to do.
Some more promo renders.
Absolutely brilliant Zev0........wow!!
Looks wonderful...
