Really looking forward to this being released!
Thanks guys. Just busy packaging the final files then it should be good to go.
Still waiting....
Sooner than you think:)
It's finally in the store! But why do the individual products list only Genesis 2 Female as a compatible 3d figure? This must be an error. I don't think it is even possible to use an M4 or M5 skin on G2F, is it? Is it correct to assume that the products can be used on any model that can use the V4/M4/V5/M5 UV, not just Victoria and Michael?
Its an error.. It should say Genesis1 and V4 and M4 as well. I'm asking Daz to rectify this..Basically if the Character has that specific UV in the list it should work. So they left out the complete list of compatable figures lol. They are on it now:) Sorry.
This is so nice. Can it be used in Carrara 8.5 pro?
I have no Idea. The script is designed for studio, and I am not a Carrara user. Maybe somebody who has more knowledge could answer.
These look amazing. The only missed trick is no current support for V6 UVs which is used by the Sisters texture set, as well as V6 herself. I'll still have to bundle this into the cart though. It has too many uses on my existing content to ignore.
Ye at this stage to convert everything for V6 is not viable. There arent enough sets to justify a full conversion. So I went with sets that are more popular, and can work on both Genesis1 and 2.
I'm a resourceful guy, I'm sure I'll find a way to have my cake and eat it. Either way it's downloading as I type. I'll post some renders once I've played around with it a little :)
Cool Thanks man. Can't wait to see them, and get some feedback. This was an ambitious project, but if all goes well, then expansions are definately on the horizon:)
Been waiting for this and now it's mine! Bwahahahahahahahahahaha
You rulz, Zev0 :cheese:
Thanks man. Have fun:) I play with it all the time. Kinda pointless making a product if you don't use it yourself lol.
Well well well... Now I need the new PC and all will be mine, Mine I say! Well, all the stuff I bought anyway...
Got both sets in my cart Z. Will come in handy some day!
Cool man. Appreciate it:)
Finally I can get my hands on it, been waiting for this to use on a character I want to release. Thank you!!!!
thinking about buying, looks so good
but lazy,
I use Carrara so need Merchant resource and lots of shader room playing around.

Ringo Monfort makes us a nice easy load preset for them, then will be SOLD!
A bit of experimentation. Seems that using V5's UV preset doesn't look too bad for adding simple facial freckles onto the V6 textures. I'm quite pleased with the results on young Penny here. Of course, that it works faultlessly with my older V4 textures as well makes it perfect for working with the Young Teens skins as well.
Very nice work Zev0!
I just noticed that DraagonStorm is not listed as a vendor on the bundle, but is on the individual packages. DraagonStorm is on sale today. Adding DraagonStorm to the vendor list for the bundle might generate some more bundle sales today.
Hi! I have a question - if I want to use this with Genesis, but using both Genesis and V4/M4 skins, could I still just get the M5/V5 product? (Not the MR but the clickable version) Does it go by what character you have loaded, or by what texture UV it requires? Thanks for any help :) -Cathy
Uses the UV's not the figure I'm using it on Genesis.
If you have a texture applied to Genesis that uses the M5 UV's, for example Philip, you will need the M5/V5 version if you have a Genesis with a texture applied that uses the V4 UVs then you need the M4/V4 version.
I've bought this and just started going through the manual. I have never used LIE before so I don't know whether this is normal but, after applying the freckles, as per the manual (the one-click, not the merchant version) my character is heavily impeded in her movement. Every time I click on a body part I get the little spinning wheel (I'm on a Mac) and it takes about 5 seconds to make my cursor available.
Is this normal? I have read to the end of the manual and don't see any mention of it.
So it seems this is a problem with LIE (I did say I've never tried it before).
This thread: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/36089/ suggests changing some preferences for the interface settings but those particular items don't appear on a Mac :
PER PIXEL shading OFF
and
Multi-threading ON
When clicking a preset, give the script 10 seconds to calculate properly. After that is should work as normal. Moving during calculations is not advised. You'll know when it is done calculating when your camera is moving freely again.
The thing is, I'd return it and buy the Merchant version but the sale price is finished now. Can I use these overlays in Gimp/Photoshop anyway and would that avoid the slow-down issues?
Sorry, you misunderstand. It is not the time it takes to process, it is clicking or moving anything thereafter that is delayed. The interface becomes too slow to use - I'm not exaggerating. I have a quite high spec i7 iMac with lots of memory and a high end graphics card.
OK try this. In edit menu on top, go to preferences\interface and set the texture resource to performance and tell me if that changed anything. There is no real reason to have textures displaying at "quality" in viewport and that does really eat up performance. That makes the viewport perform much faster and speeds up LIE application. When you render, the full details will appear as they should, only thing you are doing is lowering the quality of the unrendered preview.
Edit - just saw your settings and it is set to quality. Change that now lol. I also have an i7 and never have it set on there because viewport becomes unworkable at times.
Nope - still lagging terribly and the freckles look like someone has thrown a bucket of mud at her now.
Could you advise on whether I can use the layers in Photoshop instead or do I need the merchant version for that? If so I'll just have to return the product because I bought this under the March Madness price which is no longer valid.
