If you haven't checked out Big Love: https://www.daz3d.com/big-love-poses-for-genesis-8 This is a pose set for Brute, and different female characters, however it gender bends nicely for two men.
I tend to like to look at poses, study how they are made, in hopes of doing better myself someday...and Muscleman's poses are really top of the line They are very well made and he tends to have poses with very natural looking couples.
Because loading Owen and Boyd and all their gear is rather time consuming, I tend to use low res models, test pose sets and see which ones I think are useful. Then I take a screenshot to remind myself of the coolness for later. Here are just 3 from the set that I particularly liked.
I did move characters a bit closer together in some scenes. Just because brute is quite large. But the pose is by and large unchanged.
Earth has been aware of aliens since the 40's. Not all aliens are hostile, although most don't like homo sapiens. I'm afraid we are an invasive species in the rest of the galaxy. Fortunately for them, Earth is rather remote, so they haven't bothered with us much, until now. There are however, other worlds with humans on them. Aliens have been taking human slaves and such from earth for hundreds of thousands of years and those humans have escpaed, and well, look what happened to the Earthworm in america. They are everywhere, and people think they are indigenous.
During the 1940's Americans discovered the existence of aliens after a crash landing. Since then we've taken and adapted the alien tech to form the basis for cloning, body replication, and space flight.
Cloning, and brain transfer, is entirely an alien technique which we have stolen and adapted, since thats what humans do.
So Boyd's and Owen's story is taking place in the sorta-kinda-vaguely present day (as in 2019), but, say a couple steps to the left or some such?
It is still a bit in the future but close enough. (Although I wanted grandad to be an aged millennial), the earlies that could make him would be his early 60s, given his daughter was a teen mom and Owen is about 25, and grandad would’ve had to be young when he married.
Earth government tried to keep the origins of the alien tech under wraps and they did succeed as most people now believe the advances are the result of tech firms....but the ability to make small and inexpensive mega storage chips, virtual reality units and robots and androids as well as the decoding of the entire human genome with suggestions for improvements was acted on by less scrupulous governments
The revolutions regarding cheap low cost fuel pretty much upended the monopoly on fossil fuel some countries had, and the medical cures revealed for conditions such as cancer and aids were of course patented and sold.
The irony is that most people are unaware the tech is at all alien. They believe the revelations are the result of human innovation. The government at least managed to conceal that although some do know it is mostly attributed to conspiracy theories.
With the tech humanity has made a prison colony on the moon, advanced medical science a hundred years, and also embraced a culture of biological modification. We have also cured world hunger as anyone can go to a biobar station and get a day’s ration of biobars and water. (Don’t ask). We also have a population boom, global warming and all that fun stuff....

The apartment is Classy Apartment by truform on rendo. It is advertised as being Iray friendly, and it was. The only thing I darkened was the floor which was white, and a bit distracting. I just added a cityscape outside the big glass window, since I don't own any cityscape HDRI. The French press is from Maclean's Everyday Coffee and includes a pour prop you can parent to it. I made the pose.

I thought about getting the Classy Apartment, but it's pretty close to another Truform apartment I have, apart from the glass wall. (Also, I think I have about 90% of their store.) Looks really good, though.
The apartment has a very clean modern aesthetic and it was a good price at the time. Of course the bed and such aren’t really usable but so are most 3D beds, what I like about it is it is fairly easy to light and is large enough that I didn’t need to do much repositioning.

Just informing you that I dreamt I was on holiday in the Russian countryside, and met Owen & Boyd there. They were in disguise... with less muscles.
Oh my! I bet they'd like the Russian countryside. They do go undercover quite a bit, once earth succeeds in building the planetary shield.
Owen would very much like to travel and Boyd has been a lot of places since his parents were rich, but it is a whole different thing to travel with Owen, since all the places are new and exciting and they intend to go together someday. The Russian countryside sounds pretty.

Classy Apartment looks really good with that city scene behind it. I love the cool overtones of the render.
Just catching up with the thread now that my internet's back -- was nearly 2 weeks without due to new landlord and a switch in services when the old landlord moved. What a hassle! Love the apartment scene, it sure does not seem to have suffered any from lack of a proper cityscape HDRI. You're right about the floor, too white there would really distract. Truform has really awesome stuff, someday when I win the lottery I'll have to buy me some of that.
On the clothing front, I bought that sexy Dzheng undies pack and got a question concerning the shorts. I notice there are genital morphs in them but no matching poses in poor G8M's anatomy. Now I've got similar outfits for M4 and they come with poses that apply to his bits, then you dial in the matching underwear morph so nothing pokes out where it shouldn't. Alas, G8 does not seem to work that way, because when I loaded him and put the shorts on everything was poking out even with the morphs dialled in.
Removing his bits solved that problem, however one could notice things just didn't look right. Am I missing some pose files that should make his anatomy match the clothing morphs, or are they just not where I've been looking? First time I've used G8 anatomy, so it is indeed possible I ain't doin' it right.
Oh, I thought they were on the roof! You can tell I've never been in a Manhattan apartment as luxurious as Boyd & Owen.
@Byrdie I don’t believe there are any elements poses included with Dzheng new outfits. They are designed I think to give the illusions something is in there.
i know it is possible to make elements poses as I have bought some. However I don’t think any are included in the set.
The apartment, is a penthouse and has a lot of glass.
Boyd-bot used to have his own business and apps he Designed and sold Before he chose to become active in the war effort. So he has money from that and family money. Having apartments on top of skyrises was less desirable during the war as his grandfather invested in quite a few of them when the prices dropped low and likely he received it as a wedding present.
most people want to move into secure facilities underground or in fortified communities with strong security to protect them from raiders...Although some choose to live where they always had regardless of the danger.
I think you’d like this set. It has the clean lines you like and a fair amount of detail.
Bit of a relief, I thought maybe my download was borked and some files were missing, as the M4 outfits they make do have matching poses for those parts. Guess I'll have to pay a visit to R'otica and see what they have that's within my budget. Right now I'm trying to remember how to get a G3M morph into G8M. I've done it before with a free script that was kicking around but it's been ages and I've done a couple re-installs since that so not a clue what I'm doing. I made a really nice Snape for M4 in Poser once upon a time, today I thought I'd give it a try on the G3/G8s. The head is perfect but my custom body has a wonky chest I just can't fix so I'm trying to get as close as I can using the Genesis morphs. Any ideas for a good skin? Needs to be rather pale but all I have like that for Daz makes him look too young. And I'm probably gonna have to buy new wizard robes for him too. :sigh: Unless maybe I can get away with a hiding-from-the-Dark-Lord-in-Muggle-London type scene. That might work ... I hope.
I haven't seen any clothing fit genital morphs. One recent purchase did include a male elements morph that sort of folded the element up into a shape. I never used it though. A friend showed me how to make the real male elements fit, and I've never gone back.
The Dzheng clothing morphs work okay. I think if you don't know how to fit gens to the pants, they are fine to use, but it certainly fits better to use smoothing and put the elements in the correct position manually. Although it is more work.

On the topic of men's clothing, this is a new release its Spiky Jacket for Genesis 8 Male by Zoro_D.
This is a nice piece of work. You get a jacket, a set of gloves and a leather texture for pants, if you own the Every day outfit. The jacket includes an open morph and a vest morph. There is a texture expansion.
I fit the jacket nicely over the dforce biker outfit. The included leather texture is nice, and works well wtih the spiked jacket.
Nice! I can use a jacket like that and I think I have the Every day outfit. M4 Sevvie character is one I own but I'm not sure if the skins will play nice in iray. Must check it out, it's been ages since I was in the mood or had time for Daz & Poser play. Too much RL drama going on.
Today's new release: DZ G8M HommeSecretZ Set 3. Comes with top and bottom. the top and bottom have many mat zones so you can make the shirt and shorts look just the way you like it.

Yeah, that jacket is crazy, in a good way. I'm wondering which of my characters could wear it... Hmm, may have to wishlist just in case!
The jacket was cheap too at the intro price. Sorry folks I'm not ignoring the forum or thread, it has been day 3 of internet outage at my home. They have been struggling to fix some bad equipment and so I can't stay online because it cuts out and in. I would complain, but I get internet for free and it is normally good, so I can't really complain.

I saw a really cute wedding shoot for a gay couple all done in Target. One pic had the husband holding a ton of frozen pizzas. I couldn't find any frozen pizzas in my runtime, but found some regular kind. So Boyd has 12 frozen pizzas. The HDRI is from HDRI Haven in the Urban section it is called Canary Wharf
