This is a screenshot I took from the Batman: Arkham Knight game.  Does anybody know how to recreate this in Daz as far as the cape goes?  None of the Batman capes I've found have morphs that would allow me to create this cape pose.  There is 1 cape that I found. It's an old Poser dynamic cape,  I was able to add a D-Force modifier on it, however I wasn't able to recreate this pose.  The 2nd time I tried to use it with D-force, it didn't work at all.  I probably screwed something up.  I'm still learning how to use D-Fore, so maybe I can recreate this pose by increasing the air resistance or using a negative gravity number?  If any of you have ideas, please let me know.

This cape from MightyMite looks like it might have a morph that's close. It's also designed to work with DForce. I have it, but don't use DForce.

I have that one, but for some reason I couln't get it to work for me.  I'll have to try again.  I think the cape is too short and I didn't see any morphs to make it longer.  I really like their products, but they don't always convert well to G8 or other figures for some reason.  I have a lot of clones ie G3 to G1.

Just spoke to the MM folks (site mail) and they are coming out with a more comics accurate cape soon.  Can't wait.  The one you and I have are 1960's TV show accurate.

That's good news. I buy a lot of his stuff.

Take MM's bat cape and turn the air resistance all the way up and you will get a very good results.  Not completely like the screenshot, but I think I can fix that as well.

The new cape set doesn't do that, because the old one does:

    https://www.daz3d.com/sy-dforce-capes-for-genesis-8

The Overlord cape has a ragged edge like this, and the collar of it can be hidden by setting the cutout opacity to 0.  Then you just pose it with the bones instead of doing a sim if you want that "symmetrical flying out behind Batman" look.  I always intended this, but I was leery of making it look too much like Batman's cape without users deliberately modifying it to be that.

Thanks very much for that pic.  I have that cape set on my wish list and now it's moved up on my mental buy list  LOL.

Whenever I think of Harley and the Joker, I think of the Lady Gaga song, "Bad Romance."   I'm not a fan of villains, I just wanted to play with the models before I sic Batman on them

Those brows look insane! Don't you think that was a colorists mistake in the original art?

    The Dark Knight V

  • Maybe someone can help me?  I beta tested a Ironman armor back around April of 2008 for Rattler.  I think it was rigged to handle M3 poses and had a ton of morphs built in..  In 2009, my daughter crashed my hard drive and I lost alot of irreplaceable files.  This being one of the files.  I was hoping to find a way to contact Rattler to see if that file was still available from him.  Thank you!
