no fireplace, needs to find a fireplace screensaver :)

...wish i had some, so tasty.

...however, do have a bottle of potato wodka in the freezer and some OJ.

Tomorrow,, time to go out and get things for the holiday including a bottle of fine Porto, herring in wine sauce, some Brie, one of those tins of holiday cookies, and ingredients for a holiday stir fry (I never do "traditional" holiday dinners).

    hehe sweet toasted goodness :)

A storm blew over and we got some cold air so I guess everyone who wants to will sleep tonight :)

...well, turned out to be a crappy day. Packers lost because of a stupid fumble. Went to the karaoke joint and got stiffed for the songs I wanted to do (including one of Leela's special pieces`which usually rocks the house). All in all, a very lousy day I'd like to forget.

Given for how my life goes, par for the course.

    meh....

    Sorrie to hear that.
For me birthdays tend to be fun.
I tend to mostly adapt myself to others cause that makes life easier for me, but not on my birthday,,
That works out brilliantly cause I'm loved so mutch, so me being egoistical serves me well, and makes me in sutch a good mood that it creates a wave of euphoria with my surroundings, cause I just whipe away anything that bugs me instantly, which is profitable for all my loved-ones.

Not this year (halve year ago), I had one of my waves where I'm digusted by humanity, and just wanted some relaxasion and eskape any nonsense for a while.
The girl I live with mostly, also has her birthday on the same day, started bugging me that she needed entertainment, so I told her to bugger of and entertain herself, till she manages to be creative enough to cheer me up, then I went on a surprice visit to one of my best friends, who is homosexual, and just had 2 friends over, and just wanted to get rid of them, so I gave the good example, and got rid of myself, then a pile of people send messages to me that they wanted to party, so I put them on ignore, till I settled down with an other girlfriend I live partime with, and called the previous girlfriend (who already had appologized for dumping her sorrow on me, and I can't stand when friends of mine are unhappy, so,,,), so we settled down with some ordered food on a soft space, and watched a movie (me sometimes dozing of), best I could make of it, falling asleep contently,,

Anyway, there are 300+ days a year where one has the chanse to do better, and I don't care about tradition anyway, sooo,,, don't give in to bitterness (permanently), and battle for the abillity to feel JOY !!!!!!
(Best thing to do, besides ducking around constant insanity, without joy one becomes crazy, (a girl I fagely know just killed herself cause she was to much caught up with saving the polar bears, gorrila's, rainforrest, etc, etc, sutch a terible loss,,)

    To happyness,,, (inject heart emoticon)

...been on my "wishlist" for some time. Supposedly it is a PS plugin, but does work as a standalone as well. LycanthropeX uses it a lot and creates some really nice textures and effects with it.

It is also one of the prizes in the Rendo Holiday Contest I entered (which is one of the reasons I stayed up to 04:00 the other morning getting my entry done so I could submit it before the deadline - made it with a couple hours to spare).

...well the day started off good, just kinda went downhill later. Made a nice big brekkie, went down to the corner brewpub (10$ pitchers of craft brew on Sundays) to watch the game, Couple of good friends rolled on by, & bought a few rounds then invited me over for the holiday.

After I got home found out that Green Bay still has a shot at the playoffs because Chicago (who we play next week) lost to Philadelphia in the evening game, 54 - 11.

Yeah after all the years of holidays spent with family and relations when I was growing up, kind of got used to spending the holiday either by myself or just with a few close friends. Just seems more special that way.

On the topic of pubs, I need to find a pub. I think I have a cafe or something similar in my runtime library. I still need to find some wine and beer glasses too.

Hope you wins that one then :) Don't know whether I can import geometry and bake texture to UV's with it, I guess that would be in the docs somewhere if you could. LW has very advanced node/layer materials editing I tend to do anything I need with that :)

    Non-Complaint:
Logged into my DeviantART to see that I had 550 messages, but it turns out it was because of this http://sylxeriaguardian.deviantart.com/art/Archaeopteryx-Wallpaper-376851175

Someone had suggested it as a 'Daily Deviation' and it got featured, and then suddenly *boom* - 4,000 views in one day, 300 favorites, and a few dozen new watches O__O

Hah. December is the Month of Miracles I guess xD

I really need to do more 3Ding. Vue and stuff, and just... Stuff!

FilterForge is pretty fun to work with, and they have sales almost every month it seems xD
I think RawArt also uses it for some of his textures? :)

Mmm Node Based material systems... Cinema 4D is still using a layered system like Carrara's, but I saw a plugin for R14 and up that changes the whole thing to a Node based like Lightwave, Poser, etc. Sadly, it is not for my version (R13) and I don't know if it supports external renderers like vray or Indigo. Given the comments on the site, it doesn't seem like it does.
