you Merry Cans call em Crappers!!!

Merry Cans? Never heard that one before. I'm from Massachusetts, if you mean Canadian, so no.

I had a suspicion, though. Just never heard it before.

i thought it was a dalek reference, but daleks aren't merry :wow:

...well just received a very unexpected arrival. When I opened my door to get ready to run some errands there was a gift sack on the landing. Seems a number of my fiends who are aware of my plight with my unemployment running out soon and no further extension, got together and did a collection.

All totalled, besides a couple of nice gifts was a lot of cash in bills & coin (I hope they didn't knock over a Red Kettle) about 170$ when all was said and done

Kind of makes me feel like George Bailey from A Wonderful Life (my all time favourite holiday film) partly because I have been a bit down about the whole situation. and partly because of the pot of coinage (reminiscent of the final scene where the bartender Mr. Martini, brings in a bucket full of change proclaiming "I a-busted the jukebox").

That all goes to the food and household fund and maybe a bit for some nice clothing for interviews (but only after the holiday when the big sales happen).

Yes, in this whacked out world, there are still people who honestly care. :-)

Kyoto Kid, I'd send you a Daz Gift card but I don't have any extra cash. Glad to see that you have some cash to spend. Thanks for sharing the story.

Morning. Soft light and shadows and a mob of fat parrots pecking at the half-ripe pears in the tree outside my window :)

...that is fine. Better for you to save up for a new system so you can break the surly bonds of 32 bit.

Thing is heat brings out flies, if there is no wind everyone has to do the (famous) Aussie Salute, sometimes with both hands at once

trying to use ps texture filters to make hair strands bump map. closest i can get is linen.

clothified hair seems easier than strand hair. should be a way to drape without distorting polys.

I think it is raining near lake Erie. Snow is falling near lower Michigan around Detroit, I think.
