Sounds like you had a nice dinner Misty.

Anybody familiar with pantyhose? Is the top of the pantyhose supposed to reach a woman's belly button? Or is the 17 chick's skirt cut low? Maybe I should look for another miniskirt. I haven't seen pantyhose where the hip and waist section are transparent like this. Just wondering.

Appologies to Zev0, DraagonStorm and Muscleman

Though I don't wear the stuff, I've seen enough to know that the answer is...it depends. :smirk: A lot of lingerie goes to the waist. Some does not. That skirt is what is known as a hip hugger style. A low-rise style of panties or pantyhose would be worn with it. I am not familiar with all the choices in the 3D world. Perhaps finding a model that is just hose, not pantyhose, work work better. HIGHFASHION Essentials: SuperHose for V4 A4 G4 has pantyhose and also several plain hose styles that might suite your purpose...if that is V4. I don't know if they've updated it or made a new version for Genesis models.

It seems that they have made a new version for Genesis: SuperHose Infinite for Genesis 2 Females I just stumbled across is while looking at the latest couple of pages of Prime items...there's an add-on for it in the Prime.

An Anisotropic shader , where you direct specular/reflect along one axis, say the y axis for legs, will get you a sheer/nylon effect . Crank all the specular k's > 1 to amplify the brightness :)

I did not know that the state of Victoria has so many fires. wow

Is so dry here that some vegetation is adapted to fire. Not so good for those of us who aren't I guess but wildfires are part of the summer experience :)

It's in the low 20s here now and sunny. Tomorrow they're saying hi 30s and partly cloudy. Sunday around 40 with a "few snow showers", but it's dropping back down to the mid 20s on Monday with a "potential for significant snow accumulation" and an expected snowfall of 4" to 8". Geeze, will it ever end???????

At this rate we're not going to thaw out until June or July. ~shakes head~

Yeah, we're expected to get 3" to 6" from that one on Monday. I hate the cold. I hate the winter. More each year.

    Dana

We're suppose to get 4"-6" Sunday night

Wishing some warm your way then :)

complaint: big facepalm as I realise problems I been having with Skype chat slowly dying since January are because they changed everything in December so every update I've done to a mobile or a desktop since has borked it. Noooooooooooooo

complaint: I can't see the bottom of sheer greatness's dialog box. The desktop can only reach a maximum size of 1024 x 768.

Thanks for the tips and information about the pantyhose everyone.

nevermind, I'll try using the dialog box on the dual-core Pentium instead. That computer has a bigger desktop, I think. I'm going to eat lunch now. bye

I seem to remember reading that Skype was going to be bought by Microsoft some part of last year. Does it even still exist? They haen't changed the name to something else, like they seem to like doing? MS One-Talk. :-P

    ...busy week last week.

Must have been tired as I didn't get up until late today.

Was gaming with some friends last night Did some RPG stuff followed by a rousing round of "Cards Against Humanity" that went until after 01:00. Got home checked the forums some conspiracy theory fun stuff on YouTube then went to bed.

38° and cloudy today with icy cold (not freezing, just cold) rain and more wind on the way. Good day to just stay home.

Was a lovely day yesterday, got up to 64°. Felt like spring....well...unless you had to go to "east county" like I did where there was still a frigid wind out of the Columbia Gorge. Nice though once I got back into town.

    ...related Caturday complaint:

Why the central city WorkSoruce office (which was conveniently located right downtown by the university campus) was closed and consolidated with the Mt Hood one way out in the eastern burbs one will never know. Guess the city felt the presence of jobless people in the downtown area would detract from the latte swilling "hipster" environment they want to create there.

..or maybe it was a plot to get more money for the transit agency by forcing everyone who lives in the city to pay 5$ a day (or 100$ a month for a pass) to get there. You are unemployed and looking for work and/or any way to better your chances (a lot of the workshops WorkSoruce offers are actually very helpful and free), you don't have a lot of money, yet you have to cough up for round trip bus/tram fare plus waste an hour or more out of each day just to get there.

Makes no sense. You'd think they'd make want to it to be more convenient and attractive to use their services to help get you back to work as soon as possible.

I checked the map. Mount Hood is about 50 miles east of downtown Portland. Wow. Mount Hood looks like a nice place to go hiking though. There is a big forest there too.

...well, it's not actually at Mt Mood proper. The centre gets it's name from the nearby Mt Hood Community College (which is is also partly affiliated with) that is on the far east side of the Portland metro area. The one bus that goes by there takes a long time to get there from where I live (even more so from downtown), is usually never on time and because it has a lousy frequency, is frequently crowded even in the middle of the day.

If they wanted it out of downtown they could have relocated it in the "Eastbank" area or Lloyd District across the Willamette so it would still be readily accessible to those who live in the central area.

The weather has flip flopped, my render keeps growing, I'm having fun so that's all that matters. Back to the Jade Exile project full time now. If you follow watch for new posts very soon.

And the MM has done got me. Better buy some food soon or I might not have money to eat on the rest of the month.

Do you know if they'll be doing that vote thing again? Or is that during PC Anniversary Sale? I can't remember now. So far, it doesn't look so mad to me. *shrug*

I saw the location of the college on the map. The community college is kinda far from downtown Portland. I don't know that there is a suburb called Mount Hood. Learned something new today.

I'm going shopping on Content Paradise before one of the sale ends.

It started out a bit breezy on my way to the gym today, so I had to wear the hood from my jacket, but coming home it wasn't that windy and it warmed up to about 38 or 39 and the sun was shinning. It turned out to be a really nice day after all.

Unfortunately, it's going to rain and snow tomorrow afternoon, and snow on Monday. Man I am sooooo tired of snow!!!

"Over the knee"... either height of boot or height of skirt, I've forgotten which (though both work, come to think of it :) ...).
